INDY DIVA PROFILE on ZIP (Part Two/The IWC Years)!

HELLO WEBHEADS!

Welcome to Part Two in the episodic saga of my Indy Diva profile on the very beautiful and very talented independent female Gulf Coast wrestler,Zip!

After being trained and wrestling for independent wrestler and promoter Bobby Doll at the Pensacola Wrestling Alliance (PWA) as well as for indy wrestler Ronnie Fargo and legendary wrestler/promoter Sika The Wild Samoan at XW-2000;both promotions of which were in her home state of Florida,Zip's next stop on her wrestling trail led her to the state of Alabama and the Independent Wrestling Council (IWC).

The IWC had shows every Tuesday night beginning in the summer of 2003 at Tillman's Corner in Theodore,AL.
They also had shows periodically on occasion Saturday nights at the Santa Rosa County Auditiorium in Milton,FL.

Zip began wrestling at the IWC and started a very long, hotly contested feud with another outstanding independent female wrestler by the name of Dixie.
During the
beginning of their feud back in the summer of 2003,The Zipster was a babyface while Dixie was the villanous heel.
By the time the year of 2004 rolled around, both Zip's and Dixie's roles were reversed;however the competitive tempo in their longtime feud NEVER ever waivered.

Zip became
a multi-time IWC Women's Champion.
She has won that championship so many times,I lost track as to how many!
Both her and Dixie battled back and forth for the IWC Womens' Championship.
The IWC Women's Chmapionship changed hands more times than people walking through a revolving carousel door.

As their matches went on,they were very fiercely fought and highly competitive.
From one
match to the next and from one week to the next, you never knew which one of these two ladies was going to emerge victorious.

Zip showed tremendous ability and skill everytime she fought against Dixie at the IWC.

When she
faced Dixie,Zip certainly kicked it up a notch when it came to her tenacity and her demeanor during her feud with Dixie at the IWC,showing a vicious meanstreak through her intemperate disposition.

There was one night when she atttacked Dixie before a match between the two of them officially got started.
Zip ran Dxie's head into the infamous IWC wall which knocked Dixie semi-unconscious.
Then,Zip did the unthinkable;something that I nor the wrestling fans that were there that could ever believe nor could they ever forget.

After when
The Zipster threw Dixie's head into the IWC wall, she grabbed a bucket of filthy, dirty disgusting mop water and doused it all over and on top of Dixie!

You're probably asking yourself:
WHY IN THE DID ZIP DO THAT TO DIXIE?!!?

In an interview that I conducted of Zip for the April issue of Indy Divas Magazine,Zip said:

"I figured that she (Dixie) stinks a lot,so she needed 'a deep shower',just to cover the stink of her that was already there underneath her armpits".

Say and think whatever you want, webheads, but those were the words that came straight from The Zipster.

During her
days at the IWC,Zip also managed and was mixed tag team partner with a wrestler by the name of Pol'Kat (pictured on the right).
Pol'Kat was a talented wrestler that possessed various aerial maneuvers and was well versed in the martial arts department.

Zip created havoc
inside the ring as a wrestler as well as outside of the ring while managing Pol'Kat,as you can see in the picture on the right during one of Pol'Kat's matches as she chokes IWC wrestler "Miracle" Mikey Webb on the bottom ring rope.

Aside from winning the IWC Women's Championship,Zip greatest triumph at the IWC was when she wrested Dixie in a Paddle On A Pole match.
This match had no countouts,no pinfalls and no submissions.
The object to winning the match was for someone to climb the ring turnbuckle where a paddle was on top of a pole.
The 1st wrestler to climb and grab the paddle from the pole was proclaimed the winner.
Also, the 1st wrestler to get the paddle was given the right to lash her loser's derriere with 10 very painful, brutal lashes.
Reminds you the way it was back in the day when it was legal for schoolteachers to use a paddle upon their students who continuously misbehaved during class and they got to used a big, wooden paddle to spank their students with
when they disobeyed.
This was a great match between Zip and Dixie which a lot of aerial and technical moves occurred during that match.
But,in the end,Zip tied up Dixie placing her upside down in a tree-of-woe position in the corner where the paddle was.
Zip climbed the turnbuckle, got the paddle that was on the pole and won her match over Dixie very successfully.
Dixie lost the match and was on the receiving end of 10 brutal lashes on her kister by Zip.

But,Zip did not stop there.

She continued on with lashing Dixie with the wooden paddle until the referee stepped in to stop The Zipster's onslaught.
Dixie greabbed the paddle out of the referee's hand and began chasing Zip all the way back to the dressing room.

Zip lost a match to Dixie where the loser of that match had to leave the IWC for 90 days.
When the 90 days were up,Zip returned with a serious vengeance and her feud with Dixie began to pick up where it left off.

The Dixie/Zip feud continued until the beginning of 2005 when Zip mysteriously left the IWC and wrestling in general.
Two months later on March 29th,2005,the IWC folded.

In Part Three in my Indy Diva Profile on Zip,
The Zipster returns to the squared circle and once again rekindles her long time feud with her arch nemesis Dixie over in Gulf South Wrestling.

UNTIL NEXT TIME,WEBHEADS.....
