Well,after constant,persistent,nonstop traveling along the highways and byways throughout the Gulf Coast area going to numerous independent wrestling shows where either I was ring announcing and/or where I was taking my award-winning Pulitzer prized winning snapshots,FINALLY AT LONG LAST,I have some spare time to relax and I am able to sit down in a chair and finally post my latest blog......AND,MAN OH MAN,WHAT A BLOG IT IS........especially for those of you webheads whom that are fans of independent women's wrestling.
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT,GUYS?
NOW GUYS,C'MON....YOU CANNOT LOOK AT YOURSELF STRAIGHT IN THE MIRROR AND CALL YOURSELF A MAN AND SAY TO ME THAT YOU DON'T LOVE IT BECAUSE YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!!!
Nevertheless,let us move on to the subject at hand......
For those of you that reside along the Gulf Coast area of the Southeastern United States,Tuesday,November 6th is an election day of sorts where you cast your votes for senatorial and gubernatorial candidates,referendums and what not.
So I figured to myself......
WHY NOT LET TUESDAY,NOVEMBER 6TH MARK THE DATE FOR THE 2007 INDY DIVAS AWARDS?
At one of the YAHOO! group sites that I run,the immensely popular worldwide indy women's wrestling group called
INDY DIVAS,
at this moment,yours truly is currently accepting nominations in the following categories (including perhaps a couple of new ones) for the
2007 INDY DIVAS Awards.
This is where YOU!THAT's RIGHT!YOU can cast your vote for your favorite female wrestling personalities along the independent circuit in order for them to have an opportunity to qualify and to be nominated in several categories
at the 2007 INDY DIVAS Awards
by an overall accumulated majority of nominated votes that they receive.
Officially,this is going to be officially my very 1st year handling this very special awards presentation and I am very much looking forward to it!
The official categories for the 2007 Indy Divas Awards will be as follows:
-WRESTLER OF THE YEAR-
-MANAGER/VALET OF THE YEAR-
-FACE OF THE YEAR-
-HEEL OF THE YEAR-
-BABE OF THE YEAR-
-HARDCORE WRESTLER OF THE YEAR-
-MOST IMPROVED WRESTLER OF THE YEAR-
-TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR-
-FEUD OF THE YEAR-
-MATCH OF THE YEAR (if at all possible,please give the date of the match & the name of the wrestling promotion that the female combatants wrestled in)-
-PROMOTION OF THE YEAR (could be either an all women's wrestling promotion or a
promotion that promotes and features female wrestling)-
-INDY WRESTLING PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR-
and the big one.....
THE 2007 INDY DIVA OF THE YEAR!!!
The period covered for the 2007 INDY DIVAS Awards is from November 1st,2006 through October 31st,2007.
You can cast your votes for your favorite female indy wresting personalities in the afforementioned categories beginning on Tuesday,November 6th and they will last
until Sunday,December 9th at 1 AM Eastern Standard Time/12 AM Central Standard Time.
Also,at this time,I will be taking your suggestions for perhaps some other categories that I might take some consideration for the possibility of adding a few more categories at the 2007 INDY DIVAS Awards.

The Top 6 nominees in each category will qualify for polls in each category to be officially conducted beginning on Sunday,December 9th once all the votes have been officially accumulated and tabulated by me on Monday,December 10th.

THEN,ON THE MORNING OF TUESDAY,DECEMBER 11TH IS WHERE IT ALL BEGINS!!!
That is where your votes could more than likely pay off where if the female indy wrestling personality of your choice received the most nominated amount of votes in a category or a number of categories will be officially voted in that category where you can cast your vote for her beginning on Tuesday,December 11th.....WHICH IS WHY IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO CAST YOUR VOTE AT THE 2007 INDY DIVAS AWARDS BY THE TIME YOU FINISH READING THIS BLOG,WEBHEADS!
Also,at the end of 2007 INDY DIVAS Awards,I will be announcing the recipient to somewhat a personal INDY DIVAS Award Of Achievement.

In years past,there have been many of our local Gulf Coast ladies that have either won or that have been in the running to win in the categories at the INDY DIVAS Awards amongst the very best ladies all along the indy wrestling ciruit from all across this area,all across the United States and,quite frankly,from all over the entire world!
THIS TIME,WEBHEADS,I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE COMPETITION THIS YEAR WILL BE EVEN MORE FIERCE,MORE INTENSE AND EVEN HIGHLY CONTESTED THAN IT HAS EVER BEEN BEFORE AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH,IT REALLY DOESN'T NEED MY SPIDER-SENSES TO TELL ANY OF YOU WEBHEADS OUT THERE JUST HOW FIERCE,HOW INTENSE AND HOW HOTLY CONTESTED THE 2007 INDY DIVAS AWARDS WILL BE !!!

In this particularly category,a "heel" could be a female whom is either a wrestler or a female whom that is a manager/valet that plays the role of a ruthless,vindictive,vixenous villain
to the hilt.
A female "heel" that,on certain occasions during the match,has a total blatant disregard to rules and to authority.
One that likes to distracts the referee to take undue,underhanded advantage of an adversary or another particular opponent thereof during a match.
One who plays the emotions of the crowd at ringside to the point that either they want to get their hands on her or one that causes the wrestling audience into a frenzied riot.
A female "heel" whom the wrestling audience would loathe and despise with an uncanny,unbridled angst.
Believe me,webheads,there are several ladies along the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit who immediately come to mind and they are.......

A "face" or "babyface" to put rather blountly in the venacular of your wrestling vocabulary,is in this case a female,be it a manager/valet or even a wrestler,who is loved and adorned by fans so much that even when their name is mentioend and when their entrance music is played eminating over the public address system,it would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up in upright attention.
Also,a female that fans in the wrestling audience would scream to vociferous,boisterous,almost near deafening cheers or that would clap their hands while chanting their name in unison.
Certainly perhaps one name amongst all that would come immediately to mind would probably be........

The winners of last year's Feud Of The Year
were.....
DIXIE vs. ZIP
You can call it the saga of Good versus Evil if you'd like,but to be more specific,it's the story of two fighting females who just cannot stand or seem to get along with each other!
Plenty of feuds ran rampant during this past year in Gulf Coast indy wrestling.....
Let's take a look at some of them.
Over at Southern Pro Wrestling,a feud has exploded to bombastic proportions was between
"The Most Dangerous Woman In Wrestling
MISS FIRE
vs.
"The Highfalutin Heriress"
MACKENZIE YORK
These two ladies have been going at each other like wildcats ever since the beginning of the year,especially when it came to the SPW Women's Championship.
On some occasions,Mackenzie York has gotten the best of Miss Fire.......
.....and vice-versa.
There is not telling where this feud will be going and only time will tell as to how far and to what extremes these two women are going to take it!
At the Southern Wrestling Alliance in my home state of Mississippi,there were NOT one,NOT two,BUT THREE!
The 1st feud that took place was one that went as far back in the middle to summer months of 2006 between......
THE LOVELY LAYLA
vs.
ATHENA

These two were feuding all up and down the Magnolia State for the SWA (MS) Women's Championship.
Back in March of this year over in Lumberton,MS,they had an "Extreme Makeover" match.
A bizarre set of stipulations if ever there were any......
Layla mounted an aggressive offense upon her adversary........
However,in the end,it was her manager,B.M. (Bigg Money) Gripp who inadvertantly and WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING tripped up "The Lovely One" thinking that it was Athena as Athena coved and pinned Layla for the 1-2-3;
which thus produced this embarrasing,humiliating end result......
Things between these two really heated up one month later as both of them confronted each other face-to-face trading fisticuffs.....
...then the wildest,craziest catfight that anyone had ever seen soon took place afterwards.
In a roundabout carousel,the next feud became:
THE LOVELY LAYLA
versus
LADY DEATH
Then,a couple of months later,it became the feud
between:
ATHENA
versus
LADY DEATH
A revolving door of feuds at SWA Mississippi to say the least,isn't it,webheads?
Ere should we forget,webheads,another feud that took place during the Spring to early Summer months of 2007 in ULTIMATE WRESTLING and that was the feud between.....

Between the two vainglorious vixens,it was more than just determining which one was THE ULTIMATE DIVA at ULTIMATE WRESTLING,but more inportantly,
it was all about who was going to possess

back to the ULTIMATE WRESTLING debut show "A NEW BEGINNING" in April of this year when the ULTIMATE DIVA Contest took place
where one woman won the crown and then another woman "crowning" her in the end......

"OUT OF CONTROL",
it seemed that the volcanic situation between these two ferocious felines
finally came to the forefront....
Of course,there were other notable feuds that took place this year along the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit that involved women's wrestling.

Basically,that is the way the proverbial ball bounces.
There might be some of you out there that might feel that some of the female indy wrestling personalities that you vote for are getting snubbed or that are not given a fair chance.
I want to state for the record that that is NOT the case whatsover!
You have more than an ample amount of time to cast your vote for your favorites.
However,let us remember once again that it is the one whom receives the most votes to qualify to be nominated in the several categories at the
2007 INDY DIVAS Awards.
Please understand,everybody that there are millions upon millions of females whom are either managers/valets and/or wrestlers that are a part of several wrestling events and organizations along the indy wrestling circuit the entire world over.
There are some ladies that you may go see on a regular,perhaps on either a bi-weekly or monthly basis at wrestling shows where you live while on the other hand,there are hundreds upon thousands of millions of other ladies that others see on a regular or monthly basis at wrestling shows all over in other parts of the United States as well as in other parts of the world.
Therefore,not every single female along the indy wrestling circuit,
let alone right here on the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit
will make it,so please be sure to keep that in mind.
Besides,this is all supposed to be for fun,isn't it?
Also,NO BASHING towards any of the ladies that do qualify!
If you do so in any way,shape,form or fashion,then you can kiss your membership here at INDY DIVAS good-bye because as far as any bashing of any ladies here at INDY DIVAS that are involved in independent wrestling (or that are on the mainstream level for that matter) is concerned,
it's absolute ZERO TOLERANCE.
Every female that is a part of wrestling deserves the utmost of respect,regardless as to whom that female may be.
The way it is basically is the same way your parents told you probably when you were younger,which is:
"IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT ANYBODY OR ANYTHING,
DO NOT SAY IT AT ALL.".
Also,for some of our INDY DIVAS group members,please be advised that your messages at INDY DIVAS are moderated,which means that the message that you attempt to post is subject towards final approval.
