MAN,WHAT A WEEK I'VE HAD!

I have been all over the place all up and down the Gulf Coast area going to wrestling shows.
First,this past Friday (August 18th),I went to the Alabama Wrestling Federation (AWF) show near my neck of the woods (Moss Point,MS) in Lucedale,MS.
The next night on Saturday (August 19th),I went to Milton,FL to catch the Old School Wrestling (OSW) show.
If that WAS NOT enough for my wrestling fix,I went to see the Gulf South Wrestling show (GSW) as they celebrated their 1st anniversary over in Mobile,AL on Sunday (August 20th).

I personally would like to thank the AWF,the OSW and the GSW because all 3 of these outstanding wrestling organizations have a great wrestling product and all 3 of them put on great shows for their respective wrestling audiences during this past weekend!

BUT,THAT'S NOT ALL.....

On Thursday (August 17th),I drove all the way to the beautiful city of Panama City,FL to do a photo shoot.It was long 4 hour drive,but trust me,webheads,it was well worth it!
I'll tell you more about the photo shoot and the signifance of its importance a little bit later.

As was posted in the topic to my blog,I have once again created a BRAND NEW YAHOO! group and have discovered a BRAND NEW Indy Diva!
As you well know from my previous blogs,I have brought to the forefront of Indy Divas 7 very beautiful and very talented ladies from the Gulf Coast area (DESTINY,DIXIE,ZIP,IRRESISTIBLE DANIELLE,QUEEN MELISSA,SELINA THE SEDUCTRESS and SEXY SAMANTHA!).

Now,I am very proud to say that I added Number 8 to the Indy Divas roster with a bullet,if you will!
She is the very lovely,very beautiful and very talented female ring announcer of the Great American Wrestling Federation (GAWF).
This lady's name is PAIGE TURNER (pictured on the right)!

The GAWF is one of the great wrestling organizations based in the northwest Florida area that is run by their promoter and my good friend,Skip Skipperman.
The GAWF is a sanctioned bodied member of the American Wrestling Association (AWA).
The AWA has produced some great wrestling legends the likes of Nick Bockwinkel,Verne Gagne,Baron Von Raschke,Curt Hennig and many,many others.
Even great tag team such as The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal),Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher and The Midnight Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty) got their proverbial claims to fame in the AWA!

Like I said before,
Paige (pictured to the right) is the ring announcer for the Great American Wrestling
Federation (GAWF) in northwest Florida.
Ironically enough,Paige comes from the same town as fellow Indy Diva
Selina The Seductress,which is Panama City,FL.

The GAWF have shows about every week.
One week they will have a show in Altha,FL and the following week,they have one in Hossford,FL.
In fact,I will be going to my 1st GAWF show in Altha since back in April of this year this Saturday night!
Speaking about their show in Hossford,TNA superstar "Big Poppa Pump"
Scott Steiner will be wrestling there on Saturday,September 23rd!

I met Paige when she was ring announcing a GAWF show in Wewahitchka,FL (pronounced WEE-WAUGH !) back in January of this year and we have been very good friends since then.

Even back then as I mentioned to her about Indy Divas,I knew that she had tremendous potential,having what it takes of becoming an Indy Diva.
As a matter of fact,those were the exact words that Mr. Skipperman said to me on that evening!

I went to a few more GAWF shows within the following 3 months.
There was even a GAWF show that took place in Altha the day after my birthday.
My birthday (which is on the same day as the WWE's UnderTaker and NFL quarterbacks Aaron Brooks and Peyton Manning) was on March 24th.
Paige and everybody at the GAWF gave me a birthday cake!
I was so deeply touched by their extremely kind and gracious birthday gesture,I broke down and cried.
Believe me,webheads,that DOES NOT happen to me very often!

As I was attending GAWF shows in those 4 months,I observed Paige and her ring announcing/microphone/interview skills (as she is interviewing The Rainbow Warrior in the picture below).
In MY opinion,her skills are as just as good as those as the likes of James Roberts,Curt Diamond,Ryan Mills,Destiny and EVEN ME.......and YES WEBHEADS,I DO RING ANNOUNCE A FEW WRESTLING SHOWS ON THE GULF COAST ON A FEW OCCASIONS!!!

NOTE:
Check me out as I will ring announce the free XW-2000 show in Atmore,AL at Cotton's Flea Market (1815 Highway 21 North) on Sunday,September 10th at 12:30 PM as well as the United Hardcore Pro Wrestling (UHPW) show at the Boys and Girls Club (3404 W 19th Street) in Panama City,FL on Saturday,September 30th at 8:00 PM!

In April,I was all set to start a YAHOO! group for Paige.
Unfortunately however,by late spring/early summer,for reasons that I cannot,DO NOT and WILL NOT wish to discuss nor comment about,she left the GAWF.
I WAS TOTALLY DEVASTATED!

She took a brief hiatus from wrestling due to some personal reasons
earlier in the year,but most recently,she came back to the wrestling scene
and back to the GAWF not too long ago.

HALLELUJAH!!!

Paige is a member belonging to several of my wrestling related YAHOO! groups.
She looked at the many,beautiful pictures that I've taken of these Indy Divas and was in total awe when she was looking at those pictures.
Somehow,Paige was motivated and was inspired by the local,Gulf Coast indy wrestling divas and what they were wearing.
When she was ring announcing during that brief period of time in the GAWF,Paige's basic wardrobe was pretty much either wearing a T-shirt or a blouse and blue jeans (as illustrated in the picture on the right).
When she got back to the indy wrestling scene and after looking at my pics of the local Gulf Coast indy wrestling divas,Paige decided to take a major step up in her wardrobe ensemble.

Now,from now on,she will be dressing up more in something like this:









WHOA!WHAT A MAJOR STEP UP THAT PAIGE HAS TAKEN,HUH?!!!?
HELL!THAT WASN'T A MAJOR STEP,THAT WAS MORE LIKE A CRUSHING STOMP!!!LOL!

Last Thursday (August 17th) at a very beautiful scenic setting,I did a photo shoot of Paige in her hometown of Panama City,FL.
Paige was just as breathtakingly beautiful in that photo shoot as the city of Panama City,FL!
She told me in previous conversations that she was extremely shy when it came to taking pictures.
I don't know about the rest of you,but in the previous picture that you saw above,I see absolutely NO REASON what she has to be shy about!!

After that photo shoot and due to the pictures that I have taken of Paige in the past,FINALLY! at last I got her YAHOO! group up and running!
I got the inspiration of naming Paige's YAHOO! group somewhat from the famous song sung by the great rock n' roll singer and Hall Of Famer,Bob Seger called:

Also,after when I started Paige's site,I added Paige onto the Indy Divas roster and the over 1,700 worldwide members at Indy Divas are ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT and they are ABSOLUTELY LOVING HER so far!

But you can be rest assured in the fact that if I have anything to say about it,it will definitely be another beautiful young lady from the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit!

MY thoughts/results from the Alabama Wrestling Federation show in LUCEDALE,MS!!! (8-18-2006)

HELLO WEBHEADS!

I woke up this morning here at my "web" after coming from going to see the Alabama Wrestling Federation show that took place just last night (Friday,August 18th) NOT in Semmes,AL but near my neck of the woods (about 40-45 minutes) in Lucedale,MS.
The fans in Lucedale,MS were greeted and graced by the tremendous,great wrestling action provided by the Alabama Wrestling Federation.
In response,the sold-out crowd in Lucedale greeted the AWF with very loud and vociferous cheers!
Certainly this is no knock towards any wrestling fans that reside in the Gulf Coast area,but the wrestling fans in Lucedale,MS was like a different kind of animal when it comes to wrestling fans.
They had a loud roar like a lion with the sheer,brute force of a grizzly bear.
They were very wild and absolutely crazy;although some of them took their wildness a little bit too far,but nonetheless they were pretty much in control without going too overboard.
The building was packed to the rafters,so much in fact that there were people sitting up in the 2nd story rafters!

With that being said,here were the results from the AWF show in Lucedale,MS (Friday,August 18th):

MATCH #1:

It was a great match between 2 very popular and outstanding cruiserweights as "Cowboy" Billy Wayne took on 2 Quik (pictured on the right).
The match was very,very good as both men matched each other move for move,hold for hold and counter for counter with an awesome array of high flying aerial maneuvers.

During the match "Lil' Shooter" Kory Jackson made his way to ringside.I couldn't figure out for the life of me what businees he had doing there,but nevertheless he was at ringside.

"Cowboy" Billy hit 2 Quik with his finishing move,a corkscrew powerbomb and had him pinned for the 1-2-3,but Jackson climbed up on the ring apron and began arguing with the referee.
Being distraught,Wayne got up to confront Jackson.
Little did Wayne know that 2 Quik got up and caught Wayne from behind with a rolling reverse and pinned him for the 1-2-3 victory. ( 7:49)

MATCH #2:

It was the team of The Rainbow Warrior (pictured right)
and the so-called,self proclaimed "World's Sexiest Man"
Rikki Idol
taking on "Lil' Shooter"Kory Jackson and Richtor Rhinehart,.
Idol and Warrior,
as ordered previously at another AWF show by the very lovely and EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL, ring announcer,Vice-President and Commissioner of the Alabama Wrestling Federation DESTINY (pictured below) and the AWF,must remain a tag team for 90 days.
About 25% of those 90 days have subsided;much to the dismay and displeasure of Rikki Idol and much to the delight of The Rainbow Warrior.
With the "androngynous" and extremely bizarre ways of The Warrior,he has made
Idol's life as a tag team partner 100% miserable.

This was a wild back and forth match-up,but in the end it was an unexpected,surprising turn of events as Jackson turned on his partner,Richtor Rhinehart.
Near the end of the match as Jackson was cleaning house,he gave his own tag team partner a sidewalk slam.
Then Idol,who was the legal man at the time being the ever so opportunist like he is,covered Rhinehart and hooked his leg for the 1-2-3.

It seems to me that "Lil' Shooter" has reverted back to his old ways once again.After then match,Rikki Idol turned on The Rainbow Warrior.
Because of the wild melee and actions by both Idol and Jackson upon their respective tag team partners,the referee reversed his decision and ruled the match a NO-CONTEST.No winner. (11:00)
.

There was an intermission where the AWF Heavyweight Champion Buff Bagwell (picture right) took Polaroid pictures with the fans.He was very proud to be with the Lucedale fans at a place that he has never been before.He absolutely enjoyed himself in Lucedale,MS and the hundreds of fans that greeted him.

Following the intermission,the AWF recognized wrestling legend 'Playboy' Pat Patera,when all of a sudden it was interrupted by Wiggins,MS native,"The True Franchise" Wade Garrett.
The fans absolutely couldn't stand Garrett(pictured on the right) as he had some very unkind and disparaging comments to say about the city and fans of Lucedale and George County in general.
He also had some very unflattering comments to say to Mr. Patera.
Then Garrett brutally mauled and viciously attacking him,then repreately hitting him several times with a steel chair.
After several minutes,Patera slowly got up and walked back to the locker room under his own power.

MATCH #3:


It was the Battle of the Big Men as Minotaur took on "DA MAN" known as Big Nasty (pictured right).
Hard to believe but The Nasty One,who has been known mostly throughout his career as a heel,was finally greeted with an adoration of cheers though the crowd in Lucedale!
However,let me say that Big Nasty has NOT changed one bit.He is still the same nasty as he wants to be individual as he's ALWAYS have been.

These two very big behemoths totally went back and forth slugging it out with each other.They were slugging it out so much,they took their fight outside.
Nasty rammed Minotaur's head outside the ring with one of the chairs at ringside.
Both men did not realize that they were being counted out and that was the end result of this match. (11:59).

However,a match has been signed between these two men when the AWF returns to Semmes,AL on Friday night,August 25th as both men will wrestle each other in a tables match.
The winner is determined when one man put his opponent through a table.
What a wild match this one is going to be!

MATCH #4
Semi Main Event for the AWF Tag Team Championship:

The challengers,General Payne and Wade Garrett (with Canadian symphathizer,Dr. Love) as they took on the AWF Tag Team Champions,"THE NOTORIOUS B.S.C.""Big"Steve Cheetum and,BELIEVE IT OR NOT,Doink The Clown.
Let me state for the record that the official AWF Tag Team Champions of record are "Big" Steve Cheetum and Randy Riggins.Riggins,who was at the building in Lucedale,unbeknowst to the crowd left unexpectedly left for reasons unknown.Therefore,substituting in his place was Doink The Clown.

The very hilarious prankster (pictured on the right) had everybody in Lucedale laughing in stitches as all of them were "down with the clown"!

Before the match started,General Payne had absolutely nothing nice to say about the AWF crowd in Lucedale,nor did he have anything nice to say about the U.S.A.'s war in Iraq or both President Bushes,George or George W.
General Payne went so far as idolozing ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein as a hero,putting him in a class above Cuban President Fidel Castro and slightly below the late WWII German dictator Adolf Hitler.


Believe me,I have my issues AND many with George W. and the current war in Iraq.While I am NO fan of General Payne (pictured on the right) whatsoever,some of the stuff that he said during his "schtick",despite him being VERY UNPOPULAR over in the AWF,made a lot of sense to me in a lot of things he said about the current President George W. Bush and his father who was President also.

Furthermore,I'm no Republican nor a Democrat,not even an independent for that matter.As an American-born citizen,I am only exercising my God Given 1st Amendment Right,that's all!

For example,Gen. Payne said that the current President Bush sent our troops to Iraq to find weapons of mass destrucution based on some preconceived notion that there were some WMDS that Saddam Hussein was supposedly hiding,only to find out after when Bush sent our troops to Iraq .....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING?!!?
These are the types of things that make you go.....HMMM!

However,at the same time,when you're talking about people in the no-good class the likes of Fidel Castro,Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler,now that's another different story and issue entirely!All of those leaders/dictators have one thing in common....ALL OF THEM ARE MAD AND CRAZY!
WELL,ENOUGH OF MY POLITICAL RANTING AND RAVING ALREADY!!!

Wade Garrett was no better either,still berating the fans in Lucedale.
But,on a funnier and lighter note,both BSC and Doink grabbed Dr. Love's Canadian flag stomping on it and rubbing/wiping it up on their backsides.Even Doink blew his nose on the Maple Leaf.The crowd in Lucedale got a hoot out of that!

Anyway,the match started and,as you expected,it went back and forth.The match ended as a very angry Pat Patera ran in thr ring with a steel chair attempting to hit Wade Garrett upside the head.
However Garrett,in a move reminiscent of the late,Eddie Guerrero,"played possum" like if Pat Patera hit him with a steel chair.
Garrett laid down unconscious and when the referee turned around and saw Patera with steel chair in hand,he disqualified BSC and Doink for outside interference and awarded the match to General Payne and Wade Garrett.
BSC & Doink are still the tag team champions because,as many of you know that have watched wrestling through the years,the titles CANNOT change hands on a disqualification;only by either a pinfall or a submisison. (7:17)

But,Patera was not finished with Wade Garrett as Garrett ran for his life out of the ring as Patera still tried hitting him with that steel chair that he brought with him to the ring.
At the next AWF show in Semmes on Friday August 25th,Commissioner Destiny and the AWF has made the match official as "The True Franchise" Wade Garrett will go one-on-one with "Playboy" Pat Patera.
Batten down the hatches for this encounter!

MATCH #6
THE MAIN EVENT for the AWF Heavyweight Championship:
The challenger,Tony "The Xtinguisher" Sweatt took on the AWF Heavyweight Champion,former WCW/nWo/WWE superstar,Buff Bagwell.

The crowd was evenly split as to which of the two combatants they were rooting for.
50% of the crowd liked Sweatt while the other 50% liked Buff "The Stuff".
MAN,DON'T YOU LOVE DEMOCRACY AT A WRESTLING ARENA?LOL!

As expected,both men gave it 110% in trying to pin his opponent,but in the end,Buff "The Stuff" prevailed as he finished off "The Xtinguisher" putting out his flames,if you will,with his move,the off the 2nd rope Buff Blockbuster.
Bagwell covered and hooked the leg of Tony Sweatt for the 1-2-3 (9:45)

The battle may have won by Bagwell,but the war with Tony Sweatt and Buff Bagwell is far,far,far from over because after the match,Tony Sweatt attacked Buff from behind,even picking up Buff's belt and hitting him upside the head with his AWF Championship belt.

A re-match for the AWF Heavyweight Championship will take place next week in Semmes,AL as it will be Buff Bagwell defending his AWF Heavyweight Championship against Tony "The Xtinguisher" Sweatt.

I certainly had a great time at the AWF show in Lucedale as well as the fans that were in attendance.
It's something about having a wrestling show taking place near where you live that makes you feel very good about yourself as a wrestling fan and life in general that gives you enough motivation and incentive to scream and holler just a little bit louder.
I can certainly relate to the fans that live in Semmes,Theodore and in the surrounding area within those particular cities in Alabama when they go to an AWF show in Semmes.They are just as wild and enthusiastic at those shows just as the fans that were at the show over in Lucedale!

All in all,it was truly a great show!

When the show was over,it was announced that the AWF WILL RETURN to Lucedale,MS sometime on the month of September.
THAT IS GREAT NEWS and I am so much looking forward to them returning to Lucedale.
Since I live in Moss Point,MS,if only the AWF could somehow bring their show to the city of Pascagoula.....if only.....?

My thoughts & results of the AWF Chipley show (8-12-2006)

HELLO WEBHEADS!

Recently,I traveled to Chipley,FL this past weekend to attend the American Wrestling Federation show.The AWF Chipley show was totally off the chain as there were some great action with plenty of unexpected twists and surprises taking place.
Their shows used to take place at the miserably hot,steamy sauna known as the T.J. Roulhac Center where there is absolutely NO AIR CONDITIONING!
THANK HEAVENS the show moved next door from the very hot and sweltering T.J. Roulhac Center to the very nice and cool air conditioned building.
However,I must say this,the wrestling action was just as hot as the extremely humid weather was outside!

At the beginning of the show during The Dandy Jack Show,I personally and very proudly presented the very lovely,beautiful female manager of T-Bolt known as Selina her award (pictured on the right) that she won recently at the immensely worldwide popular wrestling related YAHOO! group,Indy Divas.
Selina was voted and chosen by the 1,700 group members as the July Indy Diva Of The Month.

I want to thank Jay Felsburg,Kangaroo,excuse me,Dandy Jack (HE SIMPLY CAN'T STAND PEOPLE CALLING HIM "KANGAROO"!) and AWF Chipley for allowing me to make that very special award presentation to Selina.Selina was very thrilled upon accepting and receiveing her award;especially much to the applause and adoration of the AWF Chipley crowd.
During her acceptance speech,she even personally thanked me because,after all everybody,I did bring her to all of you by adding her onto the Indy Divas roster.I must digress,she did not forget about that and neither should any of you!

Selina was voted amongst 24 other female wrestlers,managers/valets and personalities in the indy wrestling circuit from all across the U.S.A. when she won this prestigious award!

My sincerest of congratulations goes out to her.Also,my congratulations goes out to Selina (pictured on the right with her July Indy Diva award) because she is expected to have a baby girl sometime around Christmas Eve!Like I said in my last blog about Selina,I have known her and we have been very close friends for the last 3 years.I AM SO VERY,VERY PROUD OF HER and NO!THE BABY IS NOT MINE!!!LOL!


WEBHEADS,NOW THIS IS THE MOMENT THAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!
Here are the results from the AWF Chipley show that took place on Saturday night,August 12th:

MATCH #1
Elimination tournament match for the American Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship:

The Night Creatures (Wolf and Bat-PICTURED ON THE RIGHT)(with manager Uzi) defeated Chaz and AWOL.

Near the end of the match,Chaz brought in the ring steel chair as AWOL held one of the Night Creatures from behind as Chaz attempted to hit Bat of the Night Creatures with that steel chair.
Bat ducked out of the way and Chaz inadvertantly hit AWOL hard on his noggan.Then both Bat and Wolf picked up an already dazed and groggy AWOL and hit him with a double running guillotine clothesline as Bat hit AWOL from the front and Wolf hit AWOL from behind nearly decapitating AWOL's head off his shoulders.
One of the faithful AWF Chipley fans shouted that AWOL got AWOL-ed!
Needless and suffice to say,AWOL did as The Night Creatures won with a 1-2-3 victory and moved on in the AWF Tag Title tournament. (5:51)

MATCH #2
for the Southern States Heavyweight Championship:
"THE BIG DEAL" Ryan Holland (with manager Eddie G.) defeated David Prime by disqualification as David Prime's Canadian Cartel pals,Mr. Fantasy and Chris Tighe ran in the ring and pummeled both Ryan Holland and Eddie G.

During the ambush,Mr. Fantasy buried Holland's unconscious body with the Canadian Maple Leaf flag.
Neither I nor the AWF Chipley crowd could believe that Mr. Fantasy could do such a tasteless and despicable act like that.Then again,I guess we can because after all,it is Mr. Fantasy and why would anyone else expect anything different from this nefarious anti-American turncoat?!!? (6:39)

MATCH #3:
Terry Ryker defeated "Supa Fly" Bruce Marshall.

Marshall,who showed some wild,bizarre aerial martial arts moves,attempted to take down Ryker with those moves,but alas was unsuccessful.

Marshall backed Ryker in a corner and attempted to climb the turnbuckle and hit Ryker on the side of the head about 5 times.
The 1st 2 times,Ryker pushed him off.However,on Marshall's 3rd try,Ryker caught Marshall and dropped him with a release powerbomb and pinned him 1-2-3.
I guess you could say that "Supa Fly" got swatted! (5:11)

MATCH #4
Elimination match in the AWF Tag Team Title tournament:
"THE SYMBOL OF VIOLENCE" Jon Ryker and Johnny 8-Ball defeated The Night Creatures (Bat and Wolf)(with manager Uzi).

This match went back and forth,but in the end,Ryker caught one of The Night Creatures with a thunderous choke slam and 8-Ball went on the top rope and,just like Tom "The Dynamite Kid" Billington,Konga The Barbarian and Chris Benoit,came down with a diving head butt winning the match with a 1-2-3. (7:48)

RYKER & 8-BALL MOVE ONTO THE AWF TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALS!

MATCH #5
THE AWF TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALS:
2/3 of THE CANADIAN CARTEL,Mr. Fantasy and Chris Tighe (with David Prime & Sexy Samantha) vs. Jon Ryker and Johnny 8-Ball.

Prior to the match-up,Sexy Samantha attempted to sing the Canadian national anthem,but the AWF Chipley crowd,through their boisterous boos and their vociferous profane obscenities,was absolutely going to hear NONE of it!
In my opinion,everybody that was there that night,that was a good thing because,believe me,nobody's ears would have been able to have handled that way out of tune,shrieking witch-like voice of hers!

Referee Murray told David Prime to go back to the dressing room.The Canadian Cartel protested claiming that Prime was one of them;however it was to no avail as Murray got on the mic and told the Canadian Cartel that if David Prime did not go to the back,the match would be forfeited and the tag team titles would go to Ryker and 8-Ball.After a few minutes,Prime did got the back and the match was on!

In the early going,Ryker and 8-Ball had things going their way and under control,but through a lot of underhanded chicanery by the Canadian Cartel and with some some interference by Sexy Samantha while the referee was distracted,the Canucks took control and man,DID THEY EVER!

It seemed near the end of the match,momentum swung in the favor of Ryker and 8-Ball as 8-Ball,who was taking a tremendous pounding,made the tag to Ryker as he attempted to clean house.Ryker clotheslined both Tighe and Mr. Fantasy with one of his clotheslines knocking Fantasy outside the ring.

All of a sudden,David Prime,who was banned from ringside,made his way back to the ring.Unbeknowst to the reffere,he crouched dowm below the ring apron to avoid detection.As Tighe Irish Whipped Johnny 8-Ball towards him to the ring ropes,Prime tripped 8-Ball up as he went face first down to the canvas.The trip-up blow by Prime made 8-Ball totally disoriented;not having an absolute clue as to where he was.

Meanwhile outside the ring,Sexy Samantha handed some kind of an illegal object to to Mr. Fantasy.Fantasy was adjusting his left elbow pad and appeared to load that elbow pad.All the AWF Chipley crowd saw what was going on,but the referee did not.
As The Cartel finished off the team of Ryker and 8-Ball,Mr. Fantasy climbed on the top rope and delivered an elbow smash to Jon Ryker with that loaded elbow pad and pinned Ryker for the 1-2-3.

Whatever illegal object Fantasy had in that elbow pad,he immediately gave it to Sexy Samantha and she hid it in,let's just say,two "VERY BIG PLACES" where the referee was NEVER going to search!

Ryker,8-Ball and even the AWF Chipley fans protested to the referee about Mr. Fantasy using that loaded elbow pad in order for his team to win unjustly.
The referee ordered Fantasy to remove his elbow pad to see if there was anything illegal in it.
He unraveled and removed his elbow pad and there was nothing in it.He searched all over Fantasy and still nothing to be found.

Therefore,the bottom line and the end result was that the NEW AWF Tag Team Champions are Mr. Fantasy and Chris Tighe of The Canadian Cartel (pictured below)!

As they left the arena being booed completely out of the building,The Canadian Cartel,as they did on several occasions during the evening,very confidently and very boldly said three letters:
"C.K.A" meaning CANADA KICKS A--,well you know the rest!

MATCH #6/THE MAIN EVENT:
It was supposed to be Curtis Leroy in his dress taking on T-Bolt to determine the #1 contender for the AWF Heavyweight Tilte which is currently held by Dan Delicious.However,once again,Leroy weaseled his way out of the match due to his so-called,long suffering lower back injury (YEAH RIGHT!).So,he suggested to Jay Felsburg,or Feels-burg as Curtis Leroy likes to call him,for Dan Delicious to wrestle T-Bolt for the AWF Title and for Curtis Leroy,dress and all,to be the special referee.
We all knew from the getgo that this idea was crazy since wwe also knew that Curtis Leroy had some ulterior motive,something up his sleeve or up his dress,if you will, trying to cause some dissention between T-Bolt and Dan Delicious;two men whom had the utmost mutual respect for each other.
Nonetheless,the match was granted as it was T-Bolt,with the beautiful Selina at ringside,versus Dan Delicious for the AWF Heavyweight Championship!

From the start,it was a straight up scientific match when tempers started to flare between the two combatabts that was instigated by the special referee Curtis Leroy.

Whenever either Dan Delicious or T-Bolt backed their adversary into a corner,Leroy called for a break and then slapped one of the combatants in the back of his head.Dan thought that it was T-Bolt that hit him in the back of his head and vice-versa with neither man knowing who hit who.
Then things began to boil between T-Bolt and Delicious as they both went back and forth with clenched fists (as was illustrated in the picture on the right).

No decision was rendered in this match as once again
The Canadian Cartel ran in and began to pummel and stomp both T-Bolt and Dan Delicious. Soon after when The Canadian Cartel ranted on the microphone,both Dan Delicious and T-Bolt both got some steel chairs and,like thieves in the night,The Canandian Cartel ran all the way back to the dressing room.The match was ruled a no-contest or something like that.(7:25)

What I could not believe during the melee was that The Canadian Cartel gave their friend and one time ally,Curtis Leroy,a low blow.Not to say that Leroy did not have it coming,but I still couldn't understand how or why that happened.

WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?!!?

I'm sure that all these questions will be answered at the next AWF Chipley show that will be taking place on Saturday night,August 26th.

The AWF Chipley Board of Directors have put Curtis Leroy's back against the wall this time.They recently ordered him that he must wrestle T-Bolt at the next show in a falls count anywhere match where a pinfall can happen and take place ANYWHERE in the building;whether it's at the concession stand,the men's room,you name it.....WHEREVER!

Woe is Leroy!I feel so very sorry for him.......NOT!!!

THIS TIME,Leroy can no longer talk about his back injury that he claims that he has had for the last several months;nor can he longer make any more excuses of not wrestling T-Bolt from a doctor's excuse from his personal physician,Dr. Flim-Flam!I MEAN,WHAT IN THE HELL.....?!!?

CURTIS LEROY,IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO EITHER PUT UP OR SHUT UP!
YOU WILL FACE T-BOLT IN CHIPLEY,FL ON AUGUST 26TH AND THAT IS THAT!!!
BY THE WAY,MR. LEROY,or should I say,MRS. LEROY?
YOU STILL HAVE TO WEAR YOUR DRESS WHEN YOU FACE T-BOLT ONE-ON-ONE!

Also,the AWF Chipley Board of Directors have also ordered a re-match for the AWF Chipley Tag Team titles as the newly crowned champions,Mr. Fantasy and Chris Tighe of The Canadian Cartel must defend their championship against the team of "The Symbol Of Violence" Jon Ryker and Johnny 8-Ball.

T-Bolt,Jon Ryker and Johnny 8-Ball are all attempting seeking revenge,retribution and vindication in their respective matches.We'll have to wait and see on Saturday night,August 26th just to see what's going to happen!

HELLO WEBHEADS!

First of all,I would like to apologize to those of you that were expecting some recent blogs by me,but as this past week I have been a very busy man;being constantly on the go with numerous errands,doctor appointments,paying bills and things like that.However,just to let you know that I am feeling great and there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with me whatsoever,just being busy.

Anyway,my blog today is one of my INDY DIVA profiles.As many of you know,I am a group member and a group moderator of one of the hottest wrrestling related groups on YAHOO! known as Indy Divas where they showcase and feature all of the very beautiful,hardworking and talented female wrestlers,managers/valets and personalities from the independent wresrtling circuit from all across the good ol' U.S. of A.
In a way,I represent 7 ladies from the Gulf Coast region of the Untied States and one of the ladies that I am featuring in my profile today is a very beautiful,very voluptuous and very highly intelligent female manager/valet whom for the past 4 years or so has been blazing a smokin' hot trail across the northwest Florida indy wrestling circuit and that lady is none other than:
SELINA THE SEDUCTRESS (pictured on the right)!

Selina The Seductress was originally born and raised in Long Island,NY;but now she resides in Panama City,FL.She made her pro wrestling debut back in 2002.

Duirng the past 4 years,Selina has managed many great talented wrestlers
such as J.T. Angel,"The Big Deal"
Ryan Holland aka GhostFace,Chris Impakt (now known as converted Canadian wrestler Chris Tighe),The Black Pearl,Steve Savage,Steve Fury,The Night Creatures (pictured on the right w/Selina),Kornbread,Chief Iron Claw,The Assassin just to name a
few.
Currently in the American Wrestling Federation in Chipley,FL,Selina has been managing the very talented and outstanding wrestler known as T-Bolt (pictured below on the right).

THERE IS NOTHING FAKE ABOUT SELINA!SHE IS 100% REAL AMERICAN WOMAN!

Selina has loved watching wrestling since the 70’s.
Selina always loved the
attention Miss Elizabeth received (right),yet loved how involved Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (pictured below to the left)got in the matches.





When asked in a past interview “who does she most resemble now",her
reply was:

“I am a cross between Stacy Keibler (my sweet side) [right picture]
& Dawn Marie (my
dirty side) [below] but I want to be as good as Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was in managing wrestlers”.








Truth be told,Selina does have a "sweet side",but she also has a "dirty,naughty side",too,as illustrated in this picture below as she was interfering in a wrestling match attacking local indy wrestler Dorrian at a recent United Hardcore Pro Wrestling show in Mossy Head,FL.


Selina has worked for many promotions all across the Gulf Coast area and in many parts of the United States.Right now she works for UHPW and AWF Chipley.
She has been affiliated just to name a few with XW-2000,RWA (a northwest Florida organization that folded in the spring of 2006),IWA,
SCCW & WXW out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Did you know the first year WWE did the Diva Search,the one that was won by former WWE Diva Christy Hemme,it was only online until the
the second to last cut which was last 4 divas who remained?Did you know Selina
was a part of that & made it up to the 3rd cut?She was in the top 15 girls the
first year.

Outside of wrestling,Selina is a model,bartender,photographer & a computer graphic designer.Sheloves to work out at the gym,listen to rock music,likes anything to do with sci-fi,loves to watch Japanese anime & she is a gamer!



Some great news recently happened to Selina The Seductress this summer!
First,Selina found out early this summer that she is pregnant!At the moment of this blog,she is 5 months pregnant and is expected to have a baby girl around Christmas time.
Selina will continue to be in wrestling managing until her doctors advise her otherwise.
Also,in the month of July,Selina was voted and chosen by the thousands of group members at Indy Divas as the July Indy Diva Of The Month.She won this competition over the likes of sensational local Gulf Coast indy wrestler Dixie,April Hunter,Lady Amazon and a lady that was primarily responsible for starting the (WWE) Diva phenomenon as it is known today,Tammy Lynn Sytch,formerly known as Sunny when the WWE was known as the WWF back in the mid to late 1990s.

Speaking about Selina winning the July Indy Diva Of The Month,I will be travelling to Chipley,FL tomorrow night to formally present Selina with her award prior to the American Wrestling Federation show that will be taking place at the T.J. Roulhac Center later that evening!All in all,my sincerest of CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Selina!

I have known Selina personally for about 3 to 4 years now.She is a VERY BEAUTIFUL woman,both on the outside as well as on the inside!She is a loving woman with a very caring soul.

I am very proud for what she has achieved in her wrestling career and I am very happy to hear the news of her having her soon-to-be very 1st child!

Selina and I have been friends for about the last 3 or 4 years.I am very proud,honored and privileged to call Selina my friend and she echoes those exact,same sediments.

I was very proud earlier this year to start Selina's very own YAHOO! group and she appreciates everything that I've done for her;not only for creating her own YAHOO! group,but also adding her onto the Indy Divas roster.

Everybody all up and down the Gulf Coast,all across the United States and over in parts of the world knows about the very beautiful lady Selina!

THE HEAT WAS ON at Defuniak Springs,FL at the SPW show! (8-5-2006)

HELLO WEBHEADS!
As many of you know,I am an extremely huge wrestling fan that travels the highways and byways all up,down and all over the Gulf Coast area of the United States going to several independent wrestling shows.Yesterday,I took the "web swing" over to Defuniak Springs,FL to check out Southern Pro Wrestling and their show called:

"THE HEAT IS ON!"

I have been wanting to go see an SPW show many,many times;but I was unable to due to the fact that there were other local indy wrestling shows that took place on the same night as theirs which were more driver distance friendly,meaning a lot more closer to home for me if you will.Also,there is so much high regard and demand for me at a lot of these shows I that go to due to my great photographic genius as a wrestling photographer.After all,I didn't get the nickname "The Pavarotti Of The Papparazi" for no reason!

I go to a lot of wrestling shows in tremendous,undying support of them not only being the great fan that I am,but for what I enjoy best AND doing what I do best,that is a photographer.My wrestling pictures have won Picture Of The Day at the indy women's wrestling website,G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling 7 TIMES THIS YEAR!Not to mention,for the many wrestling photo albums that I create at PhotoBucket.com,these photo albums have won me Link Of The Day 5 TIMES THIS YEAR!

In short,in this year alone with my wrestling pictures,I have won on G.L.O.R.Y. 12 TIMES THIS YEAR!Needless to say,my illustrious award-winning
photography speaks for itself!

There have been some people that have posted on the message board at Gulf Coast Wrestling.com with some very unflattering comments about SPW and their shows.I have also heard some things said from my wrestlepals (by some wrestlers and some friends that I sit next to at ringside) about SPW as well.Some of them have said that the SPW wrestlers' gimmicks were like either that of cartoon or comic book characters.Others have said to me that when they went to see a SPW show,they left out the door just as quickly as when they got there because from their point of view,the show was completely horrible.While I respect my wrestlepals voicing their opinions to me about SPW and wrestling in general,I decided to go check out the SPW last night just to see for myself what all the hubbub and hullabaloo with them and the SPW was all about.

With all due respect to my wrestlepals,you NEVER ever could have been so wrong!

So what if some of the wrestlers from SPW dress like cartoon or comic book characters?So what if their wrestling garb that they wear is not in the proverbial traditional wrestling style?

WHO CARES?!!?

The bottom line about me going to a wrestling show is that no matter where it is,as long as it is entertaining to me,as long as I have a good time and as long as the long drive of 200 or however many miles that it takes for me to go to a show was not a wasted trip,to me,that is all that matters.To me,that is what counts.To me,that is the common denominator for me going to a wrestling show;enjoying myself,enjoying the show,having fun and having a great time.

With that being said,I went to my 1st ever SPW show in Defunaik Springs,FL.There were a lot of wrestlers from SPW that I have seen wrestle before in several other local Gulf Coast wrestling organizations,including the outstanding tag team known as The Night Creatures (Bat and Wolf),Tiger Lee,Extreme G,The Rainbow Warrior and Richtor Rhinehart.I was very much looking forward to see the very bizarre wrestler known as Dark Rage.After seeing him in action for the 1st time last night,as a heel I think his wrestling skills were pretty good and his character gimmick was off the chain!Quite a bizarre,off the wall character almost in somewhat the same lines as a wrestler in the WWE known The Boogeyman.

To be quite honest with you,webheads,the one reason and the one wrestler that I was looking forward seeing in action at SPW is none other than
a lady wrestler trained in the martial arts that has "educated feet".She is the fiery femme fatale known as MISS FIRE(pictured on the right).

Now,as you already know by now,webehads;especially from a previous blog that I posted not too terribly long ago,I am affiliated with one of the hottest wrestling related YAHOO! groups around called INDY DIVAS:

Another one of the reasons why I went to the SPW show was to check out some possible new recruits to add to the Indy Divas roster.One in particular that caught my interest and my upright attention was a very petite,very beautiful female that I have seen and have heard about.She managed Dark Rage and now she is training to become a wrestler.This lady's name is MISS JADE.

How can I describe the beauty of this lovely young lady for you to visualize?Well,for starters,when I first saw her and as I talked to her during my conversation with her,I told her that her face and eyes looked the spitting image
of a beautiful anchorperson that appears some weekdays early in the morning,but mostly early in the morning on the weekends on the Fox News cable news channel,Kiran Chetry (pictured on the right).

Now imagine,if you will,Miss Jade with the face and the eyes of Kiran Chetry(not to mention a
recent brand new piercing Miss Jade had gotten beneath her lower lip) with the short hairdo of the very beautiful and super hott Academy Award winning actress,Halle Berry (pictured below on the right)?Let me tell all you guys out there something,that is the combination and the makings of one fine woman!

COULD MISS JADE BE THE NEXT WRESTLING FEMALE PERSONALITY FROM THE GULF COAST TO BE THE NEXT INDY DIVA?Only time will tell.......but I gotta tell you,the possibilities of Miss Jade being an Indy Diva look
very,VERY promising.

I have talked to Miss Jade about starting a YAHOO! group for her seeing that I run and own 5 wrestling related YAHOO! groups (check out my previous blog "INDY DIVAS OF THE GULF COAST" to find out which ones I'm involved in!).I also talked about this to Miss Fire and two other female managers at SPW named The RingMaster and Bad Girl.For now,all I can tell you is..........it is possibly in the works!Stay tuned!

Now let's talk about all the action that took place at the SPW show alst night in Defuniak Springs,FL.In my opinion,I thought the action from top to bottom was pretty good,in spite of what the pigs,idiots and other moronic imbeciles on the Gulf Coast Wrestling message board have to say about it.

By the way,here are the results to SPW's "THE HEAT IS ON":
I could be wrong,but I believe that the 1st 3 matches were tag team tournament matches to determine who would be the #1 contenders to face the SPW Tag Team Champions,The Night Creatures.If that was not the case,then I'm sure that somebody from SPW may post a comment about it and will let me know.

MATCH #1:
The masked martial arts wrestler known as Tiger Lee and the very tall,very huge man in the hockey mask known as Jason,whom were both managed by Bad Girl defeated the team of the masked man known as Caution and E Money,whom were both managed by the very crass,aristocratic and egocentrical manager known as The Executive.Tiger Lee caught Caution with a claw hold to his head.The referee checked by raising Caution's arm 3 consecutive times and all 3 consecutive times,Caution's arm went down.Tiger Lee and Jason won by submission.

MATCH #2
The team of Extreme Kaos (Extreme G & Kid Kaos) defeated the team of Corruption and Brain Damage.
During the end,there was some dissention betweeen Corruption and Brain damage.Brain Damage injured Corruption's right hand.So what did Corruption do?While he was wincing in pain,he pulled out a pair of brass knucks,put them on his right hand and KOd his own tag team partner.At the time,Kid Kaos was down.Corruption dragged Kid Kaos' body over and on top of Brain Damage as the referee counted Brain Damage's shoulders down for the 1-2-3.
Then,Corruption joined the side of Extreme Kaos and all 3 raised their arms side by side in unison much to the delight and raucous roars of the SPW crowd. (7:43)

MATCH #3
The tag team of Chuck Thunder and the SPW Commissioner known as the Man In Black defeated the team of Bryan Grace and Exile,accompanied to the ring by Hurricane Dudley.

Originally,the Executive was supposed to be the tag team partner of Bryan Grace,however his leg was injured at the hands of Mr. M.I.B.M.I.B. told the crowd that he had a new move that he was going to do that night called "Fade To Black(something like a behind the back full nelson where the victim's face is to the canvas,best as I could tell!)".

Although M.I.B. wasn't able to use it on either Bryan Grace nor Exile,he did however use his new finishing move on The Executive,who decided to stick his nose during the match to interfere on behalf of his team.M.I.B. used that move on him making The Executive squeal like a pig and cry like a bitch as he kept tapping onto the canvas repeatedly.The referee had no choice but to award the match via submission to the team of Chuck Thunder and The Man In Black. (9:10)

MATCH #4:
The unorthodox and bizarre wrestler known as The Rainbow Warrior defeated Richtor Rhinehart,who was managed by Mr. Biggs.

Rainbow is a very colorful,"androgynous",playful and unorthodox type of wrestler along the same lines of the "Exotic" Adrian Street,just for those of you who remember your old school wrestling.On the local level,The Rainbow Warrior is just like Dan Delicious.MAN,I WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN TO SEE A MATCH BETWEEN THE RAINBOW WARRIOR AND DAN DELICIOUS!

Who in the world would emerge victorious in that match?I tell you who.......THE WRESTLING FANS,THAT'S WHO!

Throughout the match,he gave Rhinehart and the referee all kinds of fits with his "arousing" by "goosing" the referee,blowing kisses,even actually kissing Rhinehart on the lips!Rhinehart somehow battled back,throwing Rainbow outside the ring just for his manager,Mr. Biggs to get his illegal punches and his kicks in.

In the end;however,Rhinehart's and Biggs' illegal tactics would both do them in.Rhinehart held Rainbow from behind and Mr. Biggs wrapped up the belt that he wore around his right fist attemting to cold cock The Warrior.But,much to their surprise,Rainbow ducked out of the way and Mr. Biggs accidentally knocked out his own man.Rainbow took out Mr. Biggs and immediately covered Rhinehart for the 1-2-3 victory. (9:59)

After the match,Rhinehart was absolutely livid with his manager and then knocked him out,leaving him there as he walked all by himself back to the locker room.Looks like the services of Mr. Biggs are no longer required with that of one Richtor Rhinehart.

MATCH #5:
The one and only Miss Fire defeated Milo.
In his wrestling garb,Milo looked like actor Scott Baio from the mid 1980s movie "Zapped!".Before the match,Milo got on the microphone and berated Miss Fire for being a "redneck woman".Miss Fire responded saying that everybody in Defuniak Springs loves redneck women!Who are we to argue with what Miss Fire said?

Milo took unnecessary shortcuts trying to gain every undue advantage on The Fiery One,but it was not enough.Miss Fire finished off that blabbermouthed miscreton by dropping Milo with a reverse face first piledriver.You could say that Miss Fire "dropped it like it's hot" and rolled Milo around into a sunset flip pinning position for the 1-2-3. (5:20)

MATCH #6/SEMI MAIN EVENT:
The SPW Heavyweight Champion,Dark Rage with his manager,The RingMaster defeated Chief Little Bear.This was a very good,classic,back and forth match-up.It was very wild and crazy!The match ended as Dark Rage reversed Chief Little Bear's Irish Whip in the corner where the referee was and squashed him.The RingMaster was about to hit Chief with her cain,but she swung and missed.Then Chief grabbed The RingMaster and gave her an atomic drop.The RingMaster rolled slowly out of the ring in some serious pain.But,unbeknowst to Chief Little Bear,Dark Rage grabbed The RingMaster's cain and hit Chief from behind in the back.Dark Rage revived the referee,covered and pinned Chief Little Bear for the cheap 1-2-3 victory. (10:43)

MATCH #7/THE MAIN EVENT:
THE SPW Tag Team Champions,THE NIGHT CREATURES (Bat and Wolf) with their manager,The RingMaster defeated the team of Lightning Jack and "Cowboy" Buddy Love.

The Night Creatures,whom by the way call themselves the 21st Century version of the legendary Road Warriors because of their wearing facepaint as a tribute to the L.O.D..When I see this team wrestle,the one thing that I admire about them is their amazing teamwork just like so many great tag teams in the past before them such as The Rock N' Roll Express,The Midnight Express,The Fabulous Freebirds and too many other numerous tag team teams from the past to mention.They finished off Cowboy Buddy Love in a dominating fashion as both men hit Love with dueling running clotheslines,one from the front and one from the back.Sort of a double running guillotine clothesline.It was absolutely devastating as they almost decapitated Buddy Love's head off his shoulders.Bat covered and hooked Buddy love's leg for the 1-2-3. (7:38)

Then when the match was over,an assaulting ambush ensued as all the SPW heels from the locker room ran in to attempt to beat the living hell out of The Night Creatures.All of a sudden,all the babyfaces from SPW ran in to the ring and beat up on all the heels totally cleaning house.

THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A FIGHT!!!

When order was restored and when the entire ring was all cleared,The Night Creatures,all battered and bruised,still remained in the ring.Then The Executive came out saying that he had some bone to pick with Bat.He confronted Bat and doused him wtih a perfume-shaped size bottle of some Holy Water.
This whole scenario reminded me of the movie back in the 1970s that starred actress Linda Blair called "The Exorcist".Linda Blair's character was possessed by the devil.I guess Bat had some demons inside of him and The Executive wanted to remove Bat of his demons,so to speak.Bat's tag team partner,Wolf ran in and attacked The Executive like a rabid dog,but it was to no avail as The Executive dropped an elbow to the side of the head of Wolf knocking him unconscious.Once again,The Executive doused Bat one again with his Holy Water.

Hoepfully,I'll be able to come to the next SPW show to see what transpires between these two!

I want to thank all of SPW for the great show that they put on for me and their audience last night.I hope that sometime in the not too distant future,I will be able to come back to see another great SPW show.

In closing,I want to respond to another post made by another moron on the Gulf Coast Wrestling message board in regards to the best indy wrestling feds in Florida.At the very end of his post,he made some snide remark about me saying that I DO NOT research these shows and that I DO NOT tell the truth about them.In a way,he was probably saying that I "sugarcoat" my ringside reports when I give MY perspective going to all these wrestling shows as if I'm making the shows I go to the best thing to happen since sliced bread,like I'm making the wrestlers more larger than life that what they really are and like they're the best wrestling show in the entire damn universe!

My answer to that is,like I told that idiot in my reply,I give my unbiased,total 100% personal and honest synopsis about these wrestling shows I go to and what I tell in my reports are THE TRUTH,THE WHOLE TRUTH and so help me God,NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!!!.
If I like a show,I will say it like that!If I don't like a show or a wrestler that wrestled on a show,I will say it that way as well.For the most part,I have yet to see a bad show.I may have seen a bad wrestler or two,but the majority of those bad wrestlers are so few in and far between.That is my 2 cents!

By the way,the ONLY thing that I ever sugarcoat is on my cereal at breakfast!

The MIAMI VICE movie was AWESOME!!!

I just got back from the movie theater on Sunday night,July 30th,to check out the movie "MIAMI VICE".I gotta tell you,that movie blew me away just as much as the characters that were getting their heads blown off during the movie!In a weird and bizarre way,the Miami Vice movie was like the UHPW "Hardcore Showdown" wrestling show that I saw over in Mossy Head,FL the night before.It had plenty of intense action,lots of blood and a plethora of gruesome violence.

The cocaine cowboys of the '80s are gone,but Miami's Casablanca allure,the undercover cops and the attitudes of Michael Mann's culturally influential television series have been enhanced by time in the feature film version of Miami Vice.

The movie Miami Vice,a very gritty dark action film,is a big screen adaption to the very popular TV series that ran for five successful seasons on the NBC network from 1984 to 1989;a show that I loved and watched religiously on Friday nights.Back then,the TV show was one of THE most innovative,unique and powerful TV series of all time.The movie
starred actor Colin Farrell and comedian,singer and Academy-Award winning actor Jamie Foxx(pictured on the right) as detectives Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs;roles that were played
by their TV series predecessors Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas (pictured below).

The movie was written,directed and co-produced by Michael Mann,who also directed the movies Collateral,Ali(based on the very funny,rugged,tough and talented 3 time former heavyweight boxing champion,the self-aggrandizing poet who really was "THE GREATEST",Muhammad Ali!) and was the creator and executive producer of the Miami Vice TV series back in the day.

I gotta give credit where credit is due right here.Jamie Foxx,in my honest opinion,is very talented and has certainly come a long way in his many years in the entertainment business..
He was a stand-up comedian who in the early 1990s starred on the hilarious TV comedy series In Living Color playing many zany characters,including the unforgettable character Wanda (pictured on the right).

In 1996,
he later starred
in his very own hit TV show,which is one of my personal all-time favorite TV shows,The Jamie Foxx Show (pictured right).

When his TV series ended in 2001 and even up to now,he literally has blown up all over TinselTown (Hollywood) starring and appearing in several movies,winning the Academy Award in 2005 for Best Actor portraying the late,great music icon,Ray Charles in the 2004 movie Ray (pictured right).Not to mention,he's a great singer.How can anybody in the world forget him singing co-lead vocals on the Kanye West mega-hit song "Golddigger"?He recently released his own album with his own material called "Unpredictable".I mean,THERE IS NO LIMIT TO THIS AMAZING MAN'S TALENTS!!!

In the movie,Ricardo Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) is urbane and dead smart.He lives with Bronx-born intel analyst Trudy (Naomie Harris),as they work undercover transporting drug loads into South Florida to identify a group responsible for three murders.

Sonny Crockett (Colin Farrell) is charismatic and flirtatious until, while undercover working with the supplier of the South Florida group, he gets romantically entangled with Isabella, the Chinese-Cuban wife of an arms and drugs trafficker.Isabella is played by the Chinese actress Gong Li.

The best undercover identity is oneself with the volume turned up and restraint unplugged.The intensity of this case pushes Crockett and Tubbs out onto the edge where identity and fabrication become blurred,where cop and player become one, especially for Crockett in his romance with Isabella and for Tubbs in the provocation of an assault on those he loves.

Miami Vice,as a large-scale feature film,liberates what is adult,dangerous and alluring about working deeply undercover...especially when Crockett and Tubbs go to where their badges don't count.

This was one of those movies that I had to go see for a number of reasons,both personal and nostalgic.Despite the very dark tone that was projected and portrayed in the movie,which was a very far cry from the TV series,it was very,very good.

Like I stated before,I watched Miami Vice when I was growing up as a teenager and that show set the tone for pop culture in the mid 1980s and the whole decade of the 1980s as far as I'm concerned.The clothes,music,colours,cars and interior was truly fantastic.During the 1980s,you had Pac-Man,Rubik's Cube and Miami Vice.ABSOLUTELY 1980S POP CULTURE!!!

The undercover cops Crockett (Don Johnson) and Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas) opened our eyes to a whole new world of pastel colours and clothing brands. When the series became popular even huge masculine guys with chest-hair were allowed to wear “smashing” cloths. They even focused on the famous Art deco style buildings in Miami which gives it a complete style.
As a matter of fact,back in the day,I used to have and I used to wear one of those Miami Vice pastel-type sports jackets.The sports jacket was blue in color.If you had or even wore one of those Miami Vice-like sports jackets and could somehow,someway carry it off wearing it like Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas did;trust me,you were the shiznit on your block!

Even the music on that TV show was off the chain!I totally loved the music that was featured on Miami Vice!You had the classic,original TV theme instrumental by Jan Hammer.You had Glenn Frey with his songs "Smuggler's Blues" and my personal favorite "You Belong To The City".Last but not least,the unforgettable "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.Prior before I left my house to see the movie,I was going through my mass of music CDs and cassettes and I found my cassette of the 1985 TV soundtrack to the TV series "Miami Vice".I remember getting this from my mother back in Christmas of 1985 as a Christmas present.Listening to that great music on the way to the movie took me back bringing so many great memories to me,also when I was watching the TV show.

It seems that the Miami Vice movie sunk The Pirates Of The Carribean:Dead Man's Chest off the top spot at the box office.During this past weekend,Miami Vice became the new #1 movie in the country taking in $25.2 million in total ticket sales.
In spite of the many mixed reviews the movie has received,I am so very happy for the movie's success.That within itself makes me feel very good knowing that a movie based on a TV show that I loved watching over 20 years ago is the #1 movie in the entire United States of America!

This movie is great,minus all the excessive and gruesome violence.The movie is rated R for violence,language and some sexual content.Personally,this is one movie I DO NOT want to take the kids to go see,believe me!
My advice to you is if you do not want to go and see the very graphic,gruesome violence that took place in this movie,I very strongly would advise for you not to go.However,on the other hand,if you were like me growing up watching the TV show during the adolescent teenage years back in the mid to late 1980s that is wanting to go see the movie as sort of a personal,nostalgic trip for yourself,then by all means,please do go!I highly recommend it!!!

At Indy Divas,which so happens to be run by my very good friend,Spartucus Jones,they feature and showcase all of the very beautiful,talented and hardworking female wrestlers,managers/valets and personalities from all across the independent wrestling circuit in the United States of America.In a way,I represent 7 ladies from the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit;Destiny,Dixie,Zip,Irresistible Danielle,Queen Melissa,Selina The Seductress and Sexy Samantha.Let me tell you something webheads,I am damn proud of all of theese ladies that I represent and they all appreciate everything that I've done for them!

When I became a group member at Indy Divas back in late November of 2005,I was using it as a springboard to recruit group members and to get my group Destiny's Domain off the ground.Eventually in time,it paid very huge dividends not only for Destiny's Domain,but also for Indy Divas as well.Thanks in part to me and the ladies that I brought forth to Indy Divas,as I stated earlier,Indy Divas is one of the hottest wrestling related groups on YAHOO!When I joined Indy Divas,they had only 6 members.As of the time when this blog was created,there are over 1,600 members worldwide!

Spartucus has said on many,many different occasions that Indy Divas would not be as successful as it is right now if it were not for me.Believe me,webheads,I'm not bragging about that.Also remember Dizzy Dean once said that if you've done it,then it ain't bragging.I guess I've already proven the point,now haven't I?

I remember not too terribly long ago some parent,or "pig" as Buttonman would like to refer to those that desecrate professional wrestling and certain individuals involved in professional wrestling on the various message boards on gulfcoastwrestling.com with their idiotic jibberish,posted a message on the Gulf Coast wrestling message board saying that he/she brings his/her young children to see the local indy wrestling shows on the Gulf Coast and claim that the women managers/valets that accompany their respective wrestlers to the ring
dress like street walkers or prostitutes.

While I respect this individual's opinion about this issue supposedly being a parent with young children,in my honest opinion,this individual probably lets the children watch WWE RAW on Monday nights and/or Friday Night SmackDown! on Friday nights where the WWE Divas wear very provocative clothing that some,but certainly not all,may say that the WWE Divas dress like they are strippers;almost to the point where they're literally "exposing" themselves.

Under no circumstances whatsoever am I knocking the WWE Divas and for what they wear nor am I knocking the WWE for that.The WWE Divas are extremely beautiful as well as the Gulf Coast Indy Divas that we have down here,no question about that.I was just making a comparison reference,that's all.

Therefore,my point is that this individual who made this post on GCW contradicted into a double standard as far as I am concerned.He/she talks about the local Gulf Coast Divas and their style of clothing on one hand and on the other hand lets his/her children watch WWE television programming with their racy,controversial storylines and other depictive visual things of that nature on a weekly basis and monthly on their pay-per-views.Go figure.

When the WWE Divas come out and compete in swimsuit competitions,wrestle in lingerie,evening gown/bra and panties matches or just plain out catfighting,maybe the individual that I was talking about may tell the kids to go back to their room or something.Then again,what do I know what parents let their children do nowadays?

Bottom line,if you don't like what you see in wrestling whether if it's on TV or live at a wrestling arena and if you feel uncomfortable or feel that what you see is inappropiate,DO NOT bring your children or let your children to watch the show and by all means,DO NOT YOURSELF WATCH IT!

Well,enough of my ranting and raving about this issue already.I'm about to go into Incredible Hulk mode.Let me calm down a little bit and let's back to the topic of my blog.

I represent 7 of the forementioned beautiful and talented ladies that I just mentioned and may I say once again I am very damn proud of them for what they have domwe in the wrestling business and what each of them all have achieved in the wrestling business.

At Indy Divas,these ladies not only have done quite well,but they are being recognized by the group members of Indy Divas and wrestling fans from all over the United States and all over the world!That makes me feel really good and oh so very proud in me saying that!

Since the beginning of the year,Indy Divas has been conducting monthly polls to determine the Indy Diva Of The Month where the votes of these ladies comes from the thousands of Indy Divas group members.I am very proud to say that 3 of our local Gulf Coast Indy Divas has won this prestigious honor:

Thoughts & results of the AWF SEMMES SUMMERSLAM show (7-21-2006)

Greetings to you one and all!
WHAT A NIGHT AND WHAT A GREAT AWF SHOW!
I certainly had a great time as well as the 500+ fans that were there to pack the Semmes Conmmunity Center for AWF SEMMES SUMMERSLAM!THAT'S RIGHT!YOU HEARD ME AND YOU MOST DEFINITELY READ IT!The building was a total sell-out!The Semmes Community Center was so packed....
HOW PACKED WAS IT?

It was so packed,you couldn't fit another person in the building with a shoehorn!There wasn't a seat that wasn't filled and there wasn't a seat left to be taken.They had to put out more chairs just to seat everybody!Heck,I saw somebody walk in with a lawn chair just to be even seated.Therefore,what does that tell you?

Former WCW/nWo superstar and current AWF Heavyweight Champion Buff Bagwell was unable to be at the show in Semmes,AL due to some family problems that he had.However,his replacement most definitely made up for his absence.I'll tell you more about that later.

Since Buff was not there and as the show was about to begin,I cannot believe that Doink The Clown had the utter audacity to come out to Buff's theme music,wearing Buff's custom made tights and even posing and flexing his muslces like Buff....WHAT WAS DOINK THINKING MUCH LESS,WHAT WAS HE SMOKING?!!?

Anyway,Wade Garrett who was originally scheduled to face "The NightMare" Ted Allen in a weapons match,whom also didn't show up,came out with Doink and Dr. Love.As usual,these 3 were berating and cutting down all the AWF fans in Semmes."The War Machine" Chad Cheetum and Tony "The XTingusiher" Sweatt came out looking to get it on with Doink and Wade Garrett.However,Garrett went back to the locker room to get himself a partner....and what a tag partner did he get in the former co-holder of the WCW and WWF(E) Tag Team Championship and 1/2 of quite arguably one of the greatest tag teams that has ever lived in any era of professional wrestling.
From the legendary tag team,The Steiner Brothers,it was "THE DOG FACED GREMLIN" RICK STEINER (pictured to the right)!

What an unexpected surprise this was for myself and the AWF fans!Later in the evening,Steiner and Garrett were to face Chad Cheetum and Tony Sweatt in the main event.

Now,here are the results of AWF SEMMES SUMMERSLAM:

MATCH #1:
NEW AWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS WERE CROWNED as "The Notorious BSC" "BIG" Steve Cheetum and Randy Riggins defeated "The Leading Edge (Monty Warbucks and Calvin Rose).Warbucks and Rose pulled almost every dirty trick in the book to hold onto their tag team titles,but it was to no avail.BSC got hammered and pummeled by The Leading Edge during most of the match,but he somehow made the tag to Randy Riggins who came in like a house of fire to handle both members of the Leading Edge,scoring a pinfall for his team in a schoolboy roll-up for the 1-2-3 (10:07).
CONGRATULATIONS to Randy Riggins and "Big" Steve Cheetum for winning and becoming the new AWF Tag Team Champions!

MATCH #2:
BIG NASTY RETURNS TO THE AWF as he was led to ringside by Doink The Clown and Dr. Love as he took on Richtor Rhinehart and the Mountain Man in a 3 way dance.

Poor Richtor was being pummeled unmercifully by the larger and bigger Big Nasty,but he kept competitive and perseverd Big Nasty's onslaught.Nasty didn't really want absolutely no part of Mountain Man whatsoever,thus he was concentrating mostly throughout the match on Rhinehart.

Nasty pulled out a pair of brass knucks and hit Mountain Man upside his head with it.Mountain Man was startled and dazed by the blow,but he did not go down as he went outside the ring trying to regain his senses.Nasty left Rhinehart in the ring and battled Mountain Man outside.The two big behemoths battled back and forth with each other outside.The referee was counting both men out as Richtor Rhinehart was standing all by his lonesome in the ring winning the match (8:27).

I know that the very lovely and rthe very beautiful Commissioner and ring announcer Destiny said that Richtor Rhinehart won the match by a double disqualificatiion,but really it was more like a double countout.Sorry about that,Destiny and certainly no knock towards nor against you!

MATCH #3:
It was a 3 way cruiserweight match as,much to the surprise of the fans in the AWF audience through their raucous cheers,"Lil' Shooter" Kory Jackson returned to action in the AWF as he took on "Cowboy" Billy Wayne and the AWF Cruiserweight Champion,2 Quik.

Commissioner and ring annnouncer Destiny said before the match began that if 2 Quik won,he would still be AWF Crusierweight Champion.However if either "Cowboy" Billy Wayne or "Lil' Shooter" Kory Jackson won,one of those two men would be facing 2 Quik for the Cruiserweight Championship at next month's show.

All 3 of these men pulled out all the stops in this one as one tried to gain the upper hand on their opponents.It was non-stop,fast paced,high flying action from start to finish.In the end,Billy Wayne finished off 2 Quik as he defeated him with a corkscrew powerbomb and pinned him 1-2-3 (5:53).

At the end of the match,all 3 men raised their arms in unison and embraced each other in the middle of the ring in very good sportsmanship much to the adoration,applause and roars by the AWF crowd in a very outstanding match.

MATCH #4/SEMI MAIN EVENT:
General Payne took on the Rainbow Warrior.As the match started and progressed,General Payne just simply could not handle the unorthodox wrestling style of The Rainbow Warrior.He really didn't know what to do with him.But,he did battle back to take control of the match until the Rainbow Warrior took control as it was Rainbow being Rainbow.

The match ended as General Payne had some words with the referee.The Genreal shoved the referee and the referee shoved him right back,but unbeknowst to General Payne,The Rainbow Warrior was behind him and rolled him up in a schoolboy for the 1-2-3 victory (8:03).

MATCH #5/THE MAIN EVENT:
"THE TRUE FRANCHISE" Wade Garrett and "THE DOG FACED GREMLIN" Rick Steiner vs. Tony "THE XTINGUISHER" Sweatt and "THE WAR MACHINE" Chad Cheetum.

This match had a lot of funny moments in the beginning,then the action got wild,hot and heavy!From the start,Cheetum and Sweatt got the upper hand over their opponents,until with a little chicanery doing some dirty and underhanded moves and tactics behind the referee's back,the Steiner/Garrett team took control during most of the match.

With all due respect to "The War Machine" Chad Cheetum,my personal highlight was when Rick Steiner hit him with his clothesline known as "The SteinerLine".I can't begin to tell you the many,numerous countless times when I was watching Rick and his brother Scott wrestling in tag team action on TV literally take off opponent's heads with that move.When you see that move happen,it would make anybody say,um well certain adjectives and things that I will not repeat on here,but you know which ones they are.

Rick Steiner didn't miss a beat nor lost his touch when he connected Chad Cheetum with it.SORRY ABOUT THAT,CHAD!

Then things got a little wild when Chad tagged in "The Xtingusiher".He totally cleaned house with both Steiner and Garrett.Then Garrett took Chad outside the ring and posted him in one of the corner posts that was outside the ring.

Steiner was about to hit Sweatt with a steel chair while Garrett was holding him from behind.But,Chad Chettum came in and gave Garrett a standing drop kick.Sweatt Irish Whipped Steiner across the ropes and finished him off with a powerslam.Sweatt covered Steiner and hooked his leg for the 1-2-3 to conclude a great main event and a very fantastic night of AWF wrestling!

Thanks to Dwaine Henderson and everybody at the Alabama Wrestling Federation for once again putting on a terrific show!
