Bio on "The Most Dangerous Woman In Wrestling" MISS FIRE

HELLO WEBHEADS !

It has been a long time since my last blog.
Not that I haven't had anything to write about to any of you,but some days living the life of a wrestling journalist/photographer/ring announcer/wrestling related YAHOO! group owner who owns and runs 8 different wrestling groups, some days it is sometimes difficult to allocate any kind of time to do this.
Some days,it is NEVER,ever easy.
But,believe me,when I can, more oftimes than not it is worth the wait.
Remember that old saying:
"Good things come to those who wait".

Nonetheless,I was able to find some time today to create my latest literary prose here on my blog,B SPIDEY'S WEB and today, webheads,I have a great biography to tell all you, especially those amongst you that, like me,are fans of professional wrestling;or as some of the people refer to in my part of "the web" in their very own unique slang of speech,RASSLIN'.

My blog today talks about one extraordinary, beautiful, talented and very tough woman;a very popular female independent wrestler that not only wrestles along the Gulf Coast independent wrestling circuit, but is also one of the promoters that runs one of the popular wrestling promotions in northwest Florida called Southern Pro Wrestling (SPW).

I am talking about "THE MOST DANGEROUS WOMAN IN WRESTLING","The Southern Sizzler" known as MISS FIRE (pictured below)!

Miss Fire hails from Dothan,Alabama,a legendary hotbed when it comes to Gulf Coast wrestling and a town which has certainly seen its share of tremendous, fantastic wrestling action through the years.
She is a second generation wrestler that has wrestled in professional wrestling for nearly 7 years with the likes of many wrestling organizations such as SPW,Emerald Coast Wrestling Alliance (ECWA),the American Wrestling Federation (AWF Chipley) in Chipley,FL and the Alabama Wrestling Federation (AWF Mobile) in Semmes,Alabama.

Miss Fire's nickname is "The Most Dangerous Woman In Wrestling".
WHY YOU ASK?
Perhaps it may have something to do with her extensive, well versed martial arts background.

This lady received her 1st Black Belt when she was 10 years old;one of the youngest people to ever achieve this feat in this style of karate.
What's more, she is a fourth degree Black Belt in Kepkan karate.

Also,she has assisted many martial arts instructors and,along the way,picked up kickboxing,some judo,jujitsu,hapkido,Tae Kwon Do and,of course,wrestling.

Throughout her many years in training,Miss Fire gained a lot of knowledge which eventually led her to teach many lessons of karate in her hometown, not to mention kickboxing, karate and wrestling.

Futhermore, she has adapted her skills in these many forms of karate incorporating it to her own style of wrestling.
This is certainly a deadly combination to many an opponent that has ever faced and has competed against her in the squared circle.

TRUST ME,WEBHEADS,THIS IS CERTAINLY ONE LADY YOU DO NOT EVER WANT TO MESS WITH NOR ONE THAT YOU DO NOT EVER WANT TO APPROACH IN A DARK ALLEY!!!

Miss Fire's moves
basically consists of power moves,as displayed in the picture that you see to your right as she power slams one of her opponents,Dark Rage in a match that she wrestled against him at an American Wrestling Federation show in Chipley,FL.

On occasion during her matches, she does a Samoan Drop;a move where a wrestler picks up his/her opponent on their shoulders and does a falling power slam in a backwards motion from a standing position.
She does some bridge rollovers to attain a 1-2-3 pinfall victory.

During in several matches that she has wrestled,Miss Fire does this kick combo trifecta known as TRIPLE HEAT.
First,
it starts off with 3 consecutive kicks to her opponent's mid-section.

Then, she follows that up with a foot choke to her opponent's throat.

Finally, she finishes up her triple kick combination with a kick rollover to the back of her opponent's head taking her opponent down to the canvas.

Like I stated to you webheads earlier,Miss Fire is definitely NO LADY to mess with
as her enemies in SPW,namely the aristocratic and very crass manager known as The Executive, unfortunately find out the hard way!

In the immortal words to that old proverb:
"If you play with FIRE,you get BURNED" !

Miss Fire has certainly come a long way during her near 7 years on the wrestling business.
She has held the SPW Women's Championship on 4 occasions;the longest reigning SPW Women's Champion to date.
She has also held the SPW Tag Team Championship, the SPW United States Championship & became the 1st female to ever hold the coveted SPW Championship.

Miss Fire has wrestled in singles matches against both men AND women,in tag team & 6 person tag team matches alongside other wrestling superstars such as "Bullet" Bob Armstrong,Marty Janetty,Greg "The Hammer" Valentine,Lex Luger & Buff Bagwell.

In 2006,she went one-on-one against TNA KnockOut Traci Brooks.

Although Miss Fire lost this one-on-one encounter to Ms. Brooks,it was not due to a lack of effort.

Miss Fire gave it her all,as she does in any and every match that she wrestles in.
Miss Fire is one female wrestler that sets her goals to the highest level.
She wants to become a female phenomenon in wrestling and pretty much anything in life that she sets her mind to,to be the very best that she can be and to give nothing less than 110% percent in every wrestling match that she competes in.

Miss Fire is also one that wants to be a role model for others, especially to other aspiring females that wish to become wrestlers for them to see that they are all individuals of all shapes, sizes and colors, but if they seriously put their minds, hearts and souls into it,they can truly accomplish their goals.

For this extraordnary female that is known as "The Most Dangerous Woman In Wrestling" and her no-nonsense gimmick, she strongly feels that others can relate to her,but at the same time can live through her, meaning as if like they can battle alongside with her when she battles, that she is one of them and they are one with her.

Also,Miss Fire is one that doesn't want to be a part of that class of the sterotypical woman brought on by that really unnecessary bull headedness of some of the men whether if it's in wrestling or life in general saying that a woman needs to stay in the home ironing, cooking, cleaning, etc. and women in wrestling needing to be a certain shape,a certain height or a particular body type that most of the majority of men are accustomed to when they go see women wrestlers and managers/valets either at live wrestling events or watching it on television every week.

In HER opinion,Miss Fire sometimes asks this one hypothetical question:
What woman doesn't relate to wanting to beat up the man who tells all the women he is the boss and women shouldn't be in the ring but in the kitchen?
-or-
a woman who can be all about business in a women's match while the other is trying to be a stripper
?

By no means whatsoever is Miss Fire judging any woman's gimmick or anyone's personal perspective in regards as to what or how a woman should be depicted or should be characterized in professional wrestling because Miss Fire,FIRST AND FOREMOST,admires and respects ALL WOMEN that once were or are currently in the wrestling business.

She is only just expressing how her character and her type of gimmick, through her trials and tribulations in the wrestling business, has worked in these type of situations and stresses that women's wrestling,as a whole, needs every and all these type gimmicks for certain interests and aspects;whatever gimmicks they might be.
In other words, her goal is to be a different kind of role model than most people are used to,but at the same time are so ready for.

Miss Fire's dreams is to one day be able to work full time as a wrestler in a major federation such as either in the WWE or in TNA,to learn as much as she can and as much that she needs to.
She believes in the philosophy that you never stop learning and she is ready to take her wrestling career to the highest level possible.

Miss Fire has competed in karate, has done t.v. programs, commercials, demonstrations, etc.
She has loved it all,but from her point-of-view,it's never like the same feeling being in the ring in front of screaming energetic WRESTLING FANS with the energy and enthusiasm that they give that resonates back to wrestlers like her and so many others like her.

It's that feeling of telling a story or solving the world's problems which sometimes can be created and done in a matter of minutes.
But,the feeling lasts with wrestling fans much longer than that.
It's a feeling of amazing yourself when you do a certain wrestling move,a feeling of accomplishment,a sense of achievement.

But,if Miss Fire were to sum it up to one thing it would be very simple:
It's THE WRESTLING FANS
and THE KIDS in the wrestling audience that see her in action!

She loves to see them smile, encouraging them to do their best in their lives and to learn more from her and the shows that she wrestles in.
More than just wrestling moves, but to inspire,as so many others before her and like her have done in each and all of our lives.

MISS FIRE TRULY LOVES WRESTLING AND HER MANY WRESTLING FANS IN SPW AND ALONG THE ENTIRE GULF COAST AS WELL!!!

Some great things have happened to Miss Fire recently:
(1)A BRAND NEW YAHOO! group has been created of her simply called:
The Most Dangerous Woman In Wrestling,a.k.a. "THE HOUSE OF FIRE"

If you would like to join her group, here is the link to her site:
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/TheMostDangerousWomanInWrestling/

Also,Miss Fire is featured and a part of the one of the premiere hottest indy women's wrestling sites on YAHOO!,where they showcase and highlight the most beautiful, hardworking and talented female wrestling personalities in the independent wrestling circuit from across the United States and all over the world called:
Indy Divas
http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/indydivas/

In the upcoming months ahead in the year 2007,expect nothing but great things in store from "The Most Dangerous Woman In Wrestling" and for her loyal following of fans!

THE HEAT IS ON AND MISS FIRE IS ABOUT TO LIGHT AND HEAT THINGS UP IN THE SQUARED CIRCLE AND IN SPW AS SHE IS ABOUT TO SET THE GULF COAST WRESTLING CIRCUIT ABLAZE!

UNTIL NEXT TIME,WEBHEADS.....

Passing of the torch, changing of the guard

HELLO WEBHEADS!

I have had a lot of things happen to me within these past several days;not to mention doing something extravagant this weekend that I have never done before in my very short time in the wrestling business.

For the first time ever,I am going to do a double dip or a double play,if you will.
I am going to ring announce two consecutive Gulf Coast independent wrestling shows within a two and a half hour time period.

First,for
UNITED HARDCORE PRO WRESTLING.....

in Mossy Head,FL.

Then, immediately after when I leave that show,I will be driving 14 miles(approximately 20 minutes)and going to Defuniak Springs,FL to be the co-ring announcer and live-on-the-mic color commentator for:

SOUTHERN PRO WRESTLING

Like I stated to you before, webheads, this will be my 1st time ever doing anything like this before, but yours truly is certainly and will most definitely be up for the task and for the challenge!

Recently at the indy women's wrestling wrestling YAHOO! site Indy Divas, some recent developments and breaking news took place on Wednesday,January 23rd at Indy Divas that involved and pertains to group owner,Spartucus Jones.

Here is what he had to say in a message that he posted on the Indy Divas message board yesterday:

"I regret to inform you that publishing of Indy Divas Magazine has been discontinued.
It was no longer feasible to keep the Magazine going.
Also due to other commitments,I am going to be stepping down as owner
of the Indy Divas Yahoo group.
I will leave it up to Brian Reese (THAT'S ME,BTW!) to
decide the future fate of the group.

Also for those that are interested, past issues of Indy Divas
(including the ultra rare 7 collector cover inaugural issues) are
being auctioned off on EBay, along with some lady wrestling DVD's
(Shimmer, WWW):
http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZspartucusjones

I would like to thank everyone who supported Indy Divas over the past
year.

Spartucus Jones

I was taken aback when I read this news on the Indy Divas message board and, needless to say,I was very shocked, stunned and also it left me very melancholy.

As far as Indy Divas is concerned,I will continue it out of respect for him,for all the female indy wrestling personalities across the United States and in parts of the world as well as the over 2,200 plus members worldwide that have supported this very YAHOO! group since its inception back in November of 2005.

I never met Spartucus personally.
However, truth be told,we have been in constant contact with each other via E-mail over the last year and two months.
He is a great guy whom has earned the utmost of respect by myself, all the group members at
Indy Divas and all the ladies across the indy wrestling circuit.
He also did a terrific job in running Indy Divas during his tenure.

Rest assured,he has left Indy Divas in very good and capable hands.
I will do,to the very best of my ability,to run Indy Divas and to
continue with the same passion and commitment that he bestowed upon
it.

I personally want to thank Spartucus Jones for all the tremendous
efforts, ambition and support that he put forth to Indy Divas and for
him giving me the opportunity to run and to continue one of the
hottest indy women's wrestling sites there is.
Those acts of kindness, love and support of indy women's wrestling
that he displayed and that he portrayed here on Indy Divas will
NEVER,EVER BE FORGOTTEN.

I also want to wish him the very best of luck in his future endeavors
and life in general.

Indy Divas is going to continue on and will be moving forward with
some very exciting developments in store for the thousands upon
thousands of group members that support it,which will include some
brand new Indy Divas that I have discovered that will be added to the
roster in the upcoming weeks and months ahead.

I want to thank each and every single one of the group members that
have supported Indy Divas when Spartucus was here and I am hoping
that they and other future members that come onto here will continue
with their never ending, unbridled and undying support now that I am
here running one of the hottest indy women's wrestling sites on
YAHOO! or for anywhere else for that matter,Indy Divas.

Yes indeed, there is that proverbial "a lot of stuff on my plate" for me in the days, weeks and months ahead;but, like I said before, webheads, your fearless leader is certainly and most definitely up for the challenge!

Unto which that I say......
BRING IT ON!!!

UNTIL NEXT TIME,WEBHEADS,.....

Looking back on 2006 and looking ahead in the year of 2007!

HELLO WEBHEADS !!!

This may appear to be long overdue, but I hope that all you webheads had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With that out of the way, here on my current blog,I talk about and my reflections of the year that was that went by,being the year of 2006 as well as my thoughts about this upcoming year of 2007!

By many leaps and bounds, peaks and valleys, trials and tribulations, the year of 2006 was a very, very good year for me,on a personal and successful level.
When I celebrated my 34th birthday on March 24th (YES,WEBHEADS!I AM 34 AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!!!),without question,it was the greatest birthday that I've had in my life so far.
Considering what I went through the year before being on dialysis due to kidney failure thank to me having diabetes since I was 6 years old onto my successful kidney and pancreas transplant surgery in April of 2005,in many ways you could say that my celebrating my 34th birthday was very, very special to me and I received nothing but lots of love and well wishes from many of my wrestling brethren and my many friends along the Gulf Coast.
Just to let you know, both my kidney and my pancreas are working great and I am feeling better than I've ever felt before in my life!

I also want to thank my very good friend and wrestling fan and supporter,"Buttonman" Bob Liddil for creating my very own wrestling message board B Spidey's World
and for helping me get started on this very blog that you have been reading throughout this past year.
Pretty much when it comes to my blog, this blog called B SPIDEY'S WEB,he literally gave me the ball and I ran with it and I've have been running with it ever since.
For that,my friend,I thank you very,very much.

Like always,as usual,I ran my two wrestling related YAHOO! groups:
DESTINY'S DOMAIN
-and-
QUEEN MELISSA'S CASTLE

while I created several in the year of 2006,including:
SELINA THE SEDUCTRESS
MISS KIMBERLY'S PALACE
THE SEXY SAMANTHA SUITE
-and-
TURN THE PAIGE (former GAWF ring announcer Paige Turner's YAHOO! group)

Not to mention, two other wrestling related YAHOO! groups that I am very proud being affiliated with:
ZIP RULES
-and one of THE HOTTEST wrestling related indy women's wrestling YAHOO! groups around:
INDY DIVAS

NOTE:
As of November of 2006,I became a fill-in,temporary and acting group owner of Indy Divas by the original group owner Spartucus Jones.
Spartucus Jones left to go on his 2 month vacation (that which will be concluding sometime in mid-January) and asked me to take over for him while he was away;that upon which I have done, according to him and several of the many, many group members
there,a very good job.
When he comes back from his vacation, there is a VERY STRONG possibility that he might make me a permanent co-group owner at Indy Divas!
I will most definitely keep you apprised of any further developments upon that once those developments warrant.

Moreover,I will be bringing in some new female wrestling personalities to Indy Divas and I personally will be adding them onto the Indy Divas roster as 2007 rolls along.

To me as a wrestling fan,2006 was a great year for wrestling along the Southern Gulf Coast independent wrestling circuit.
There were many independent wrestling organizations along the Gulf Coast that had outstanding shows that entertained many of their respective westling audiences;most of which them left their wrestling audiences in amazement and in awe.

The ones that I went to did exactly just that!

While some of my many colleagues and friends that have been a part of or that have attended these shows may disagree with my observations, the fact of the matter is that I,for one,was entertained,I got my money's worth and that I had a great time for the many shows along the Gulf Coast that I've attended.

Within this last year,I have shown my undying love, support and unbridled passion for Gulf Coast independent wrestling by my persistent, constant traveling non-stop across the highways and byways along the Gulf Coast area going to many of these shows with the many photographs that I've taken at ringside, creating hundreds upon hundreds of wrestling photo albums at Photobucket.com.

Furthermore, these photos that I've taken have won me numerous "Picture Of the Day" and "Link Of the Day" honors at the indy women's wrestling website,G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling as well locally when I was glorified being recognized for my picturesque talents as I presented the award as Photographer Of The Year at Southern Pro Wrestling (pictured below):

In many ways in the year of 2006,I transcended and went beyond your normal, typical, rowdy fan sitting in the front row at ringside.
In fact, due to my extreme enthusiasm and vigor at wrestling shows as a wrestling fan, there was one great man,one great wrestling legend that recognized that in me an gave me an opportunity to be a ring announcer at this show;by which to him I am very grateful and honored to have him choose me to be his ring announcer.
That great man was 1/2 of the legendary, notorious tag team,The Wild Samoans,Sika!

In March of 2006,he gave me my opportunity to shine as a ring announcer when he wanted me to be his ring announcer at his wrestling organization at XW-2000.

Sika The Wild Samoan was one of the first people who gave me my shot to get into the mainstream of the wrestling business.
I will NEVER,ever forget him for him doing that for me and from the bottom of my heart,I want to thank him for that!

Never was I ever one to shy away from the spotlight, nor was I ever one to be ever nervous in front of a live audience as with many a show that I did for him over in Century,FL and then later in the year in Atmore,AL.
Before every show that I did for him,to honor our great nation of the United States of America and the many brave men and women serving in the Armed Forces who protect, preserve and defend our freedom here in the good ol' U.S. of A. and all over planet Earth,I sung our country's nation anthem,"The Star Spangled Banner".

However, unlike some shows where they either had some singer or some choir singing the song from a live recording or had an instrumental of the song being played,I sung the song accapella (without music)!
I am the only ring announcer that I know of along the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit to do that.
I really, really love to sing and it showed every time when I sung that song;to that which every wrestling fan and every wrestler and worker backstage absolutely loved,to the point they were in absolute amazement not even believing that I could even pull it off!

I had and STILL have a swagger about me like I could AND can do no wrong!

Whether it was my $100 plus suits that I wore,

my own unique style and delivery on the microphone using my special rhyming, catchphrasing limmericks,or making old school wrestling references from the superstars of yesteryear,I guess you could say that I had a style that I could call my very own and not that of your typical ring announcer.

Not that I had or have anything against any other ring announcer (James Roberts,Curt Diamond,Ryan Mills-friends and inspirations of mine whom I respect and admire very, very much!!) doing what they do or to the ways, means and the style that they did it.
I just wanted to break apart from all that,to be me,to be myself,to be different so that when I display myself and my talents to the wrestling audience and when they see me doing "my thing",so to speak, they know for a fact it is me and only me!

A lot of other wrestling organizations in the year 2006 recognized my God gifted, true talents as a ring announcer that also wanted my services due to several, different circumstances filling the voids,if you will, involving their ring announcers.

They are:

-AND-

...also Southern Stars Wrestling (SSW) before it folded at the end of last year after running only 2 shows.......

Even at these wrestling organizations, whom both run great shows in my estimation irregardless as to what others might say, gave me an opportunity to shine and display my talents and sytle amongst their respective wrestling masses and I have yet failed to disappoint.

I will admit,I have my good days and I have my bad days where,in some of my bad days,my perfomances were not up to par to the way I want them to be where I either make some mental mistakes or miss some spots during descriptions of matches or whatever else have you.
However,I do not ever let my bad performances nor my mistakes discourage me.
I just forget about it,press on and move forward.
I guess you can say you live, you learn.

My performances as a ring announcer from last year up to this point in time (NOT MEANING TO BRAG!) have been very, very good!
I've been gaining a lot of self-confidence for each and every show that I do.

As a matter of fact at an XW-2000 show that I did in Atmore,AL back in the summer of 2006,one wrestling fan compared me to the late, great wrestling commentator Gordon Solie.
Growing up as a wrestling fan watching Georgia Championhship Wrestling,Continental Championship Wrestling and Championhsip Wrestling from Florida,Gordon Solie was truly the very best at what he did!
He was truly my favorite ring announcer when I watched him growing up on television and for this wrestling fan to even remotely compare me to the likes of Gordon Solie is like the highest, most ultimate flattering compliment that you could ever possibly receive as either a ring announcer or a ring commentator in the wrestling business and makes me very, very proud doing what I'm doing!

Also,at a Southern Pro Wrestling show that I did in Defuniak Springs,FL back in mid-December of last year, everybody from the wrestling fans thst were there to all the workers in the back thought that my performance that night WAS THE BEST PERFORMANCE FROM A RING ANNOUNCER/COMMENTATOR THAT THEY'VE EVER SEEN OR HEARD!!!

BELIEVE ME,WEBHEADS,WHAT I SAID WAS DEFINITELY NOT A "SHOOT"!
THAT IS THE GOSPEL TRUTH
!!!

Especially on that night in Defuniak Springs,FL,you could have called me Tommy Rich because I was on like "wildfire"!!!

Looking back on 2006,it was an awesome year for me!
Looking forward to 2007,it will be even better for me!

All you webheads thought you have already seen the best of me,you ain't seen nothing yet because the best from me is yet to come and,in the year of 2007,I am going to 'turn this mutha out',if you know what I mean!

AND NOW.....
My assessments for a few of the independent wrestling organizations along the Gulf Coast region in the year of 2007.

NOTE:
In these assessments,I am not here to bash,to chastise anybody,to put anybody down or to tell anybody how to run their own shows!

I am here to offer MY opinions.
THIS IS NOT A "SHOOT",BUT MY VERY OWN WORDS AND MY VERY OWN PERSONAL STRAIGHT UP TRUTH !!!

For those of the following organizations that I am about to give out these assessments to that may take either my suggestions ot my opinions the wrong way in any way, shape, form or fashion,I want to give out my apologies and for them to understand that these assessments are not intended not to bash any of you in any way,but perhaps as good criticism and to offer advice from a highly respected point-of-view by one of your best and fellow wrestling fans to adhere to and to abide by!

Also,I will not give assessments about the wrestling organizations that I am currently involved in right now as a ring announcer out of respect for them, considering there's really no need to on the count of HEY! I'm working with you and are a part of you, right?

Besides,I'm also not the type of person to "go there",OK?
WHY ON EARTH DO I WANT TO BASH THOSE THAT ARE GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR THEM?!!!?
TO ME,THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE
!

But,for those that I currently am a part of,I want to thank them for giving me the opportunity to work with them and my continuing to work for them.
I will give you more than 110% effort night in and night out, giving you the very best that I can give to your wrestling organization and to your wrestling fans in the audience night in and night out.
You guys are top notch in my book and YOU GUYS CERTAINLY KNOW WHO YOU ARE
!!!

DIRTY SOUTH PRO WRESTLING

This is a brand new and definitely an up and coming wrestling organization.
At your last show that I attended over in Brewton,AL on Friday,January 5th,you brought in talent from the organization that was once known as the Pensacola Wrestling Alliance (PWA);a substantial addition to your new organization on your part along with bringing in the likes of Sirus Lavey,Mikey Webb and Nick Wonder;another bonus.

You have also said that you are in the process in bringing in some female managers/valets into DSPW;another HUGE plus (that will sell you a lot of tickets in the 18-35 year old male demographic,BTW!LOL!)!

I do understand and realize that you're brand new and are now taking those "baby steps",the proverbial "learning to crawl before you walk",but I know from what I've seen already, you guys are well on your way and I wish you nothing but the very best the rest of this year!

ALABAMA WRESTLING FEDERATION

This is one of the top notch wrestling organizations along the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit that I have gone to see many a show for the last 4 years.
In this last year, you have packed out shows from the left and right over in Semmes,AL with not only very good wrestling action, but bringing wrestling superstars such as "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan,Ax of the tag team Demolition,Rick Steiner and Buff
Bagwell.
Hopefully,in the year of 2007,you guys will continue to do so bringing in the big names to your shows and to your supporting fans.

For the last couple of months, you have brought your brand of wrestling over to Lucedale,MS.
On the one hand, this is a definite, absolute plus for the immediate Missisissipi Gulf Coast area because many fans like me that have lived in this particular area have been clamoring for this for many, many years now and it has been way long overdue and for that,I thank you.
But,on the other hand and with all due respect, please do not forget that Alabama is your home !
After all,you guys are the Alabama Wrestling Federation, correct?

Mostly everybody knows the 411 about the situation with you and Semmes,so there's no need to expostulate on that.
But,do not let your "enemies" infiltrate your territory, running roughshod and wild over what you have already created and have already established for yourself and for your wrestling audience.

You know you would not let a burglar break in and rob your house, now would you?
My advice to you is:
PROTECT "YOUR FORT".....PROTECT "YOUR TERRITORY".....PROTECT "YOUR HOUSE" AND TAKE OVER WHAT ALREADY BELONGS TO YOU!!!

GULF SOUTH WRESTLING

Another one of the top notch wrestling organizations to which I have gone to see many a show since its inception back in October of 2005 that is run by Percy Pringle III,a.k.a. WWE legend and former manager of The Undertaker,Paul Bearer.
GSW has brought many superstars and legends to their shows within the last calendar year including "Exotic" Adrian Street,Kamala,"Bullet" Bob Armstrong and Robert Gibson of the Rock N' Roll Express just to name a few.
Not to mention, they have always had greet wrestling action.

The new wrestlers that are coming out of the GSW Training School have very much impressed me thus far and I'm sure they will continue to vastly improve as they hone in on their craft and skills as 2007 progresses.

GSW has run nothing but great shows and I'm pretty sure that in the year of 2007 they will continue to do so.
You know the old saying? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

However, the one thing that I must say that GSW needs to incorporate to their shows is by bringing back the ladies and women's wrestling once again at their shows.

By April of 2006,they had:
DIXIE
QUEEN MELISSA
ZIP
-and-
IRRESISTIBLE DANIELLE

Dixie and Zip had rekindled their feud from February until June of 2006.
All of a sudden after the month of June, just as it was about to gain some momentum,it stopped.
WHY??????

When August/September rolled around,it was Dixie vs. "The Belle Of Biloxi" Passion.
Thry wrestled a few matches against each other and a feud of sorts was in the process of building.
Then all of a sudden,it stopped.
WHY???????

Next thing you know, once that feud somewhat subsequently subsided,it was Passion vs. Irresistible Danielle.
Even they had a few "scraps" against each other for a few shows.
Then all of a sudden,it stopped.

ONCE AGAIN,I have to ask this question.....
WHY??????

Now,it's only just IRRESISTIBLE DANIELLE (NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING ABOUT IT!!!)
and............................IRRESISTIBLE DANIELLE!!!

First,a ladies feud attempts to build up for a couple of shows for a couple of months, then POOF !It vanishes like a cloud of smoke....

I am one not to be supercritical and I am definitely not one to question PP3's integrity, his reputation or anything like that and under no circumstances whatsoever am I ever going to do that.
He is a great man that I respect and admire very dearly.
He has been in the business for 3 and a 1/2 decades and we have been very close friends for almost 9 years now.

All that I am suggesting for GSW to do is to bring some women's action back to their shows, that's all.

Think of the possibility of a ladies tag team match:
Irresistible Danielle and Zip (one lady we haven't seen since June that you SERIOUSLY need to bring back!)
vs.
Dixie and Passion

Believe me,people from miles around will be coming in droves to see that match-up take place!
With my contacts with other wrestling fans, needless to say, just take my word for what it's worth.

Many of my friends and fellow ringside fans were also wondering what happened to women's wrestling action at Gulf South Wrestling?
WE WANT IT BROUGHT BACK!!!!!

Aside from that, like I stated before,GSW is a great Gulf Coast wrestling organiztion and runs great shows and I'm sure that 2007 will be as beneficial, prosperous and popular as it was for them in 2006.

As far as Old School Wrestling (OSW),Amereican Wrestling Federation,SWA Warzone in Hattiesburg,MS and to the other wrestling organizations that run along the Gulf Coast area that are starting or re-starting that either I forgot about or did not mention are concerned,I have absolutely nothing but love and respect for all of you and I want to wish all you guys nothing but the very best in 2007.

Well, that was my personal perspective looking back on the year of 2006 and my personal prespective as I am looking forward for 2007.
This will not only be another great year for Gulf Coast independent wrestling and its fans, but for me as well as a wrestling journalist/photographer/wrestling related YAHOO! group owner/ring announcer and commentator!

WE'VE ONLY JUST BEGUN AND WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED.....AND JUST WAIT 'TIL I GET "MY GROOVE" ON ONCE I GET ROLLING IN 2007!

Remembering a great musical icon and a legend JAMES BROWN 1933-2006

JAMES BROWN
1933-2006

He was known as:
"The Godfather Of Soul"
"The Hardest Working Man In Show Business"
"Mr. Dynamite"
"Soul Brother Number One"

Whatever you may have called him and whatever moniker you may have remmbered him by,truly without question,James Brown was all that and a bag of chips.

The entire world of music world has lost a tremendous talented singer,a musical icon and a legend as James Brown passed away.
I was very shocked and stunned when I saw the news this morning as I'm sure many others that has listened to his music over the years.

James Brown was truly one of a kind,an innovator who has inspired and influenced many of our great performers including the likes of Mick Jagger,Prince,Michael Jackson,Justin Timberlake and many, many others.

His work has been sampled numerous millions of times by many rap and hip-hop artists,i.e. "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and D.J. E-Z Rock (YEAH!WOW! YEAH!WOW!-REMEMBER THAT SAMPLE FROM THAT SONG?!!?).

James Brown, the dynamic, pompadoured "Godfather of Soul," whose revolutionary rhythms, rough voice and flashing footwork influenced generations of musicians from rock to rap, died early Christmas morning due to pneumonia and congestive heart failure.
He was 73 years of age.

Born in poverty in Barnwell,S.C. in 1933,Brown was abandoned as a 4 year old to the care of relatives and friends. He grew up on the streets of Augusta,GA in an "ill-repute area" as he once called it,where he learned how to hustle to survive.
"I wanted to be somebody," Brown said.

By the eighth grade in 1949,Brown had served 3 1/2 years in Alto Reform School near Toccoa,Ga.,for breaking into cars.
While there,he met Bobby Byrd, whose family took Brown into their home.
Byrd also took Brown into his group, the Gospel Starlighters.
Soon they changed their name to the Famous Flames and their style to hard R&B.

In January 1956, King Records of Cincinnati signed the group, and four months later "Please, Please, Please" was in the R&B Top Ten.
From the 1950s, when Brown had his first R&B hit, "Please, Please, Please" in 1956, through the mid-1970s, Brown went on a frenzy of cross-country tours, concerts and new songs. He earned the nickname "The Hardest Working Man in Show Business" and often tried to prove it to his fans.

His "Live at The Apollo" in 1962 is widely considered one of the greatest concert records ever. And he often talked of the 1964 concert in which organizers made the mistake of having the Rolling Stones, not him, close the bill.
He would remember a terrified Mick Jagger waiting offstage, chain smoking,as Brown pulled off his matchless show.

Brown was one of the major musical influences of the past 50 years.
From Mick Jagger to Michael Jackson,David Bowie to Public Enemy, Brown's rapid-footed dancing, hard-charging beats and heartfelt yet often unintelligible vocals changed the musical landscape.
He was to rhythm and dance music what Bob Dylan was to lyrics.

Brown's stage act was as memorable, and as imitated,as his records, with his twirls and spins and flowing cape, his repeated faints to the floor at the end as band members tried in vain to get him to leave the stage.

With his tight pants, shimmering feet, eye makeup and outrageous hair,Brown set the stage for younger stars such as Michael Jackson and Prince.
And the early rap generation overwhelmingly sampled his music and voice as they laid the foundation of hip-hop culture.

"Disco is James Brown,hip-hop is James Brown, rap is James Brown;you know what I'm saying? You hear all the rappers,90 percent of their music is me," Brown told The AP in 2003.

Brown's classic singles include "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag," "(Get Up I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine," "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and "Say It Loud — I'm Black and I'm Proud,"a landmark 1968 statement of racial pride.

"I clearly remember we were calling ourselves 'colored',and after the song,we were calling ourselves black," Brown told The Associated Press in 2003.
"The song showed even people to that day that lyrics and music and a song can change society."

Brown used his stardom to help preach for self-sufficiency,recording such songs as 1968's "Say It Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud)".
As myself being an African-American,his song "Say It Loud(I'm Black And I'm Proud)" was like an anthem that spoke volumes upon volumes to many African-Americans from back in the days of the Civil Rights movement even up this day in age.

On April 5 of 1968,as rioting broke out across America in the wake of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in Memphis,TN the previous night before,Brown insisted on playing a show in Boston,MA that the city's Mayor Kevin White had wanted to cancel.
Brown dedicated the show to King and it was broadcast on local television at the mayor's urging in an effort to keep people off the streets.

He won a Grammy for lifetime achievement in 1992, as well as Grammys in 1965 for "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" (best R&B recording) and for "Living In America" in 1987 (best R&B vocal performance, male.)
He was one of the initial artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986,along with Elvis Presley,Chuck Berry and other founding fathers.

I have loved many a song by him including "Cold Sweat","Papa's Got A Brand New Bag","I Got You(I Feel Good)","Get Up(I Feel Like I'm A Sex Machine)","Get Up Offa That Thang" and "Living In America" from the "Rocky 4" movie.

I loved all those comedic skits that comedian/actor Eddie Murphy did impersonating him when he was on "Satruday Night Live" and during his tour.
I got a huge laugh out of that-LOL!
In my opinion, that skit wasn't out to denegrate James Brown, that was a sign of respect and paying homage to this great man.

In the latter years of his life,he had his internal and personal problems outside of music (TELL ME SOMEONE IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC WHO HASN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE IN SOME FORM OR WAY OR ANOTHER!) with charges of drug abuse and domestic abuse, that is not the way I want to remember him nor for him to be remembered.

I want to remember James Brown, this legendary, high energy performing Rock N' Roll Hall of Famer (ONE OF THE VERY 1ST BACK IN 1986 TO BE INDUCTED,BTW!) for the many contributions that he gave to music and to fans like me listening to his music and his fantastic dancing style (that performers such as Prince and Michael Jackson have emulated) through the years entertaining many a person throughout the 5 decades that he was in music performing.

James Brown earned the nickname "The Hardest Woreking Man In Show Business",performing tiredlessly and effortlessly show after show for the last 5 decades and ALWAYS was a man, whom until the end,who always gave back to his community.

I will miss James Brown immensely, but I am grateful and thankful to God and to the Good Lord that he left something behind for his fans and for future generations of music to remember,to enjoy and to respect.

Rest In peace to THE Godfather Of Soul,James Brown!

Brian Reese/BSpidey1:The 2006 Gulf Coast Wrestling's MAN OF THE YEAR!

HELLO WEBHEADS (DAMN!How long has it been since I said that on my blog?LOL!)!!!

Yes,I understand and realize that it has been a long, long time since the last time that I created a blog for all you webheads to read and I must apologize to all of you for that.
However,I must say in my defense that I have been a very, very busy man as of late, espcially within this last month.

First of all,I was designated with a tremendous responsibilty to run THE HOTTEST independent women's wrestling group on YAHOO! called Indy Divas while the group owner Spartucus Jones is taking a 2 month hiatus from the group for recuperation purposes and he asked me if I would take over his role as group owner while he was gone....to which naturally I accepted.

At Indy Divas, there is plenty going on over there, such as the poll to determine the December Indy Diva Of The Month, where the over 2,100 worldwide group members can vote for their favorite female indy wrestling personality.

In this month's poll,we have not ONE,but TWO former WWF(E) Divas in the poll and they are:

TAMMY LYNN SYTCH,
who was known back in the WWF in the mid to late 1990s as Sunny.
Tammy Lynn Sytch, known back then when it was known as the WWF as Sunny;whom in many ways really started the WWE phenomenon we know today as the WWE Divas, was the manager/valet and fiance' to the late, great outstanding wrestler,Chris Candido.
Back in the WWF,Chris Candido wrestled under the name Skip and he and Sunny (which both were later joined by Tom "Zip" Pritchard-NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH FEMALE INDY WRESTLER and INDY DIVA ZIP!!!) became The BodyDonnas.
She was the 1st manager in WWF(E) history to manage 3 different and consecutive teams to the World Tag Team Championship.
At one time,Tammy Lynn Sytch/Sunny was the most downloaded pin-up in cyber/internet history,a feat that is currently held by American glamour spokesmodel,Cindy Margolis.

The other
former WWF(E) Diva in this comeptition poll is IVORY.
For those of you that have watched wrestling through the years,Ivory (real name Lisa Morreti),got her claim to fame as Tina Ferrari wrestling for G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling).
Ivory is a former WWF(E) Women's Champion who has wrestled against the likes of Chyna,Trish Stratus,Jacqueline,Lita and many of the other top female wrestlers in that organization.

Also, there is the 2006 Indy Divas Awards, where there are several ladies along the indy wrestling circuit that are nominated in several categories to which the winners are determined by the 2,100 plus group members that cast their vote for them.

To cast your vote, you must join and become a member at Indy Divas and then click on the Polls link to cast your vote:

Now,let's get back to me and to the topic at hand:
Yesterday (Sunday,December 3rd,2006),I was checking out the message board at Gulf Coast Wrestling Online, the message board to gulfcoastwrestling.com,and I couldn't believe what I saw.
It was a message post attributed to me in recongnition and high praise for all of the many things that I have done and have contributed to wrestling along the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit throughout the year of 2006.
This was a message that was posted by a very good friend of mine and to a friendly, considerate, warm human being who was partially responsible for me getting this such high praise, the webmaster of gulfcoastwrestling.com,Mr. Bob Liddil.

Here is what he posted about me:

Consideration for 2006's Wrestling Man of the Year!
Posted on December 3, 2006 at 08:49:28 PM by Bob

Known for his affection for Divas (ladies of wrestling), colorful dress and warm, friendly personality, Brian Reese has contributed heavily to the Gulf Coast Wrestling Scene in 2006. Handling (ring) announcing at several shows, shooting pictures at events and just generally reminding us all quietly that "disabled" is a state of mind, whereas "enabled" is a state of forward movemer, Brian has demonstrated the perseverance, love-of-sport, enthusiasm for job doing and overall leadership to have earned a nod of praise from this web site acknowledging his dedicated and selfless service.

Please give a round of virtual applause to "Spiderman" or post a note here expressing your approval.

Bob

And the praise continues.....
Here are 3 other men on the Gulf Coast indy wrestling circuit whom I have either seen in action at ringside or whom I have worked with at several shows within
this past year;also these 3 men that I consider to be very good friends of mine.

SCOTTY RAYZ:

"I agree 100%.
Mr. Brian Reese is an awesome guy and he has one of the biggest hearts a person can get.
I'm giving him a virtual applause right now."

"B.T.Y." Colby Godwin:

" "B-Spidey" Brian Reese is one cool cat and loves the sport of professional wrestling.
I have nothing but good words for him
Dunno about the whole "virtual" round of applause, but the man knows I'll shake his hand in person and say a job well done."

Former Gulf Coast indy wrestling referee DENNIS LOVE:

"I can think of no one deserving the title more than Brian Reese.
He goes far beyond to bring the sport in pictures to all the fans.
The man is a class act and I am glad to call him my friend.
I have had a bad year but Brian always lifts my spirits.
For that,Brian,my friend,I say:
'THANK YOU'.
As Always SEE YA!"

If you like, you can post some positive messages about me at the Gulf Coast Wrestling message board at:
http://www.gulfcoastwrestling.com

I'm pretty sure that there are several more of my fellow wrestling colleagues and many other friends of mine and other, great people that I know along the Gulf Coast indy wrestling cirucit that probably might echo the exact same sediments that all of these individuals have said.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of those (wrestling promoters, wrestlers and wrestling fans) who have welcomed me into and that have allowed me being a part of their lives, that have invited me to several of their wrestling shows and that have asked me to be a part of their shows whether if it ws me being eiher a ringside photographer,a ring announcer or even just as a fan sitting at ringside enjoying their show.
This is truly a great honor that has been bestowed upon me and I thank all of them so very, very much of this very prestigious honor which is so greatly and most dearly appreciated.

In my opinion, the year 2006 for me as a wrestling fan and for what I have contributed and have supported to what I truly and immensely love, which is professional wrestling,is just only the beginning for me,webheads.

2006 was great for me.....just wait and see what I have in store for all the Gulf Coast wrestling fans in the year of 2007!!!

This is Brian Reese,a.k.a. BSpidey1

THE 2006 GULF COAST WRESTLING MAN OF THE YEAR

(BTW,don't you agree that this terrific pic and pose of me would make a great cover for a wrestling magazine?LOL)?!!!

2006 Indy Diva nominee for MATCH OF THE YEAR (Part 3:ZIP vs. DIXIE w/QUEEN MELISSA as SPECIAL REF/GULF SOUTH WRESTLING/Grand Bay,AL/April 21st,2006)

HELLO WEBHEADS!

This is the third and final part in my lobbying of suggestion for you,the reader,to vote for when you cast your nominations for the 2006 Indy Divas Awards at the immensely, popular worldwide indy women's wrestling YAHOO! group Indy Divas in the category of:
MATCH OF THE YEAR

This match was one that I was at front row ringside in attendance to witness on April 21st,2006 at a Gulf South Wrestling show that took place in Grand Bay,AL as it was another classic one-on-one ladies encounter between:
"The Gorgeous Golden Vixen Goddess" ZIP vs. "The Sexy Southern Belle" DIXIE.

However,to even the odds in Zip's favor somewhat was the special referee,a woman who despised Dixie at Gulf South Wrestling just as much as Zip did and that was
"The Majesty Of Mayhem" QUEEN MELISSA !

Before the match started,GSW President Percy Pringle III
warned and demanded Queen Melissa to call the match right down the middle
and show no favoritism whatsoever towards Zip or else.
Queen Melissa heard the GSW President very loud and clear, but NO ONE
that was there in the audience that night believed for one split second that she was even going to abide by the rules nor even her calling this match down the middle.
Well,we are knew better from the getgo that the nefarious, notorious Queen wasn't even about to call the match completely down the middle and truth be
told,she didn't.
It pretty much seemed like a one-sided affair from the beginning.

Once again,it was another situation where Dixie's proverbial back was entirely up against the wall.
It was one thing to battle her arch rival,Zip,but knowing the bitter animosity that Queen Melissa had for her and knowing full well that she wasn't even thinking about calling her match 100% down the middle,it was another total different story entirely!

From the start,it was your typical, classic, back and forth Dixie/Zip encounter.

However, when it came to a point in the match where Zip blatantly broke the rules on Dixie(such as in the picture that you see displayed to your right),one would normally think that the referee would step in and would call for a break.....

NOT QUEEN MELISSA!
The Queen would let Zip do whatever she wanted to do with Dixie while she was distracted and arguing with the fans.

Dixie, given her unbelieveable, insurmountable circumstances and being the tride and true competitior that she is,somehow managed to battle her way back.
Then, during comeback moments like this,Queen Melissa would step in stopping Dixie's momentum to flourish warning her about her dirty tactics that she perpetrated on her opponent Zip such as hair pulling, trunk pulling and using clenched fists.

WHAT DIRTY TACTICS?!!!

Dixie was about to have all that she could stand with Queen Melissa and her horrible officiating.
However, she soon realized that if she even laid one pinky finger on her,The Queen immediately would have disqualified her and would have unjustly awarded the match to Zip.

But,once again, despite tremendous, incomparable odds,Dixie got a second wind, fought her way back and this time was no longer going to be denied or to be kept down regardless of what either Zip or Queen Melissa was going to do to her.

However,Zip Irish Whipped Dixie to the ring ropes and hit her in her finishing move called "The Zippit".
Queen Melissa was at the count of 2 before Dixie somehow kicked out.

Dixie got her momentum back and Irish Whipped Zip into a corner.
Zip came from the corner attempting to rebound and catch Dixie with a running clothesline.
Dixie had the same idea in mind.
Both of these ladies had the same idea in mind and they were going towards each other like two fast, speeding cars going at 55 miles an hour on a straightforward, head on collision course.
However,as they were about to clothesline one another,Queen Melissa was caught in the middle of their dueling running clotheslines and she was knocked unconscious.
The crowd went absolutely nuts when this moment occurred!
The match then resumed.

Zip then Irish whipped Dixie in the ring ropes attemtiong to hit Dixie again with "The Zippit",but Dixie countered it and hit Zip with her finishing maneuver called "The Climax".
Dixie covered Zip and hooked for leg for the pin.
A second referee ran in,slid through the bottom ring rope and counted Zip shoulders down for the 1-2-3.
Dixie won in a very difficult, dramatic, but very outstanding match!

As a result due to her awful, lackluster and extremely biased one-sided
officiating,Gulf South Wrestling suspended Queen Melissa.
She hasn't wrestled since her suspension, much less she hasn't been seen from nor heard from since.....

Dixie emerged as the victor in this match on this evening at Gulf South Wrestling.

If you believe that this match is worthy as being a Match Of The Year nominee at the 2006 Indy Divas Awards, then please go to Indy Divas and cast your vote:
http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/indydivas

or you can personally contact Indy Divas group owner Spartucus Jones by submitting
your suggestion for this match to be Match Of The Year via E-mail at:
