INDY DIVA profile on DIXIE (Part Four:The IWC Years,Volume Two)!

GREETINGS,WEBHEADS !

Welcome to Part Four of my Indy Diva profile of "The Sexy Southern Belle" Dixie!

When I left you at my last blog,Dixie was managing the team of Trailer Fabulous (Mercury McCloud and "Crazy" Joe Fargo) and she was having
her back and forth one-on-one battles with Gulf Coast indy female wrestler Zip for the IWC Women's Championship (pictured on the right).

Dixie was not only wrestling hardcore and mixed tag team matches, but in her one-on-one encounters with Zip,
she showed tremendous skill and submission maneuvers, such as this one pictured to your right.

After managing Trailer Fabulous to multi time reigns as IWC Tag Team Champions, very amicably, both Trailer Fabulous and Dixie parted ways.
Now Dixie was managing a team that she once defeated for the IWC Tag Team Champions (as I reported on my last blog),The Warriors.

The Warriors, formerly known as The Jihad Warriors, were fired by their manager,Ali Akbar,as he kicked his own team to the curb,so to speak,to manage a new team.
Originally hailing from the country of Syria,The Warriors were somehow "American-ized" to the customs and the lifestyle of the American way.
Thus came a brand new look and a brand new manager as Dixie managed this outstanding tag team.

Then,Dixie became known as "The Warrior Princess" almost in the same manner like the character from the very popular television series known as "XENA:The Warrior Princess".
Very rapidly, this team soon became the IWC Tag Team Champions under Dixie's guidance and influence.

A couple of months later, yet again, very amicably,Dixie left her team,The Warriors,to concentrate solely on what she loved doing and what she did best, wrestling in one-on-one ladies singles competition.
Dixie won a few more reigns as the IWC Women's Champion taking on the likes of Zip as well as some "new blood" challengers in the forms of indy female wrestlers Chassity Fargo (daughter of "Crazy" Joe Fargo),Nicole Bondage and Stacey Duke.

It wasn't before long until Dixie,
who became one of the most popular wrestling personalities at the IWC,reverted back to her old ways once again as a rulebreaking heel;taking unnecessary shortcuts and doing WHATEVER it took to win matches as she re-invented herself with a brand new business-type look.
Trust me,webheads,Dixie meant business and was giving "the business" to everybody she fought!

Despite her disposition,Dixie still showed off the great, wrestling skills that had
made her very successful up to this point in her wrestling career.

At the time,Dixie was managing a very good, dynamically skilled aerial tag team in the form of
"The Natural" Nick Wonder (pictured in the middle next to Dixie) and "The Future Icon" Nick Vortex (pictured on the end on the right).

Just like the many men that Dixie managed before them, whether either Nick Wonder or Nick Vortex were wrestling in singles competition or as a tag team, under her tutelage,Dixie managed them to a string of victories at the IWC.

Sadly,like that old proverb goes:
"ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END".

That was exactly what happened on Tuesday night,March 29th,2005 as the Independent Wrestling Council closed its doors for good as they folded their wrestling organization.

Dixie was the IWC's last official Womens' Champion.

She came to the IWC and she left there when it ended in the same way that she came in.....ON TOP!

Dixie took a hiatus from the indy wrestling scene, only to return right back into the squared circle mix 6 months later.
This is where we'll pick up on the story in my next blog;the final saga of my Indy Diva profile of "The Sexy Southern Belle" Dixie in:

"Part Five:DIXIE IN ACTION AT GULF SOUTH WRESTLING" !

UNTIL NEXT TIME,WEBHEADS.....
